Hi Dan! David Lashar is an officially nominated candidate on the ballot in the 2022 Gubernatorial election. He was nominated by the Libertarian Party of Maryland on October 18, 2021. (here are the official minutes from the party: https://lpmaryland.org/archives)

Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:NPOL) but presently does not. As other reviewers have noted, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable . Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple publishedsecondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see referencing for beginners. Additionally, the draft tends to read too much like a CV, which Wikipedia is not. Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements then resubmit the page and ping me and I would be happy to reassess.

Third party candidates don't get elected because they are excluded from media coverage and debates. I am so disappointed that Wikipedia is also acting as a gatekeeper. 2/3 of Americans want a third party, and 80% support term limits, so a policy allowing only currently elected officials to have biographies conflicts with the values of most voters. I hope Wikipedia revisits this policy and allows - even temporarily - all candidates on the ballot to have a biography. I think it would make a big difference.
