Your submission at Articles for creation
[edit]I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Tungabhdra Dam. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.
Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.
Here's an example of how to add references:
He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>
== References ==
{{reflist}}
That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.
Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page A.k.a (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Interstate River Water Disputes Act
[edit]Hey Kwdt2, thanks for your note on my talk page, I'm happy to explain what I meant. While you do a good job of using inline citations in the lead, they are sparse in the rest of the article. The "Water disputes" and "Constitution of Tribunal" sections do not have any citations at all, so there is no way for a reader to tell where you got the information from. As a rule of thumb, try to provide at least one inline citation per section.
Also, you need to work on proving to readers that your topic is important (notable). The first three sources, while they are good to have as background material, are primary sources, and so do not establish notability. The last two seem to be okay, but if you include more it would help. Has this law been talked about in newspapers or legal journals? Keep in mind that it's fine to use Indian-language sources.
Lastly, just as a matter of presentation, try to conform to Wikipedia's manual of style as much as you can in your future articles. Right now, your article includes no wikilinks to other relevant articles, and there are a few grammar mistakes (its recent amendment should be its most recent amendment, by Indian parliament should be by the Indian parliament, and so one). This is not a huge problem, and there are plenty of editors who are happy to correct such mistakes for you, but if you take a little time to proofread your submission it will save time for other editors. (If you are not a native English speaker, don't worry about it - the article is mostly very well written and like I said, other editors can easily polish up your prose.)
Please don't think I am telling you that you are doing something wrong or that your work is not appreciated. Wikipedia desperately needs more information on places like India, and I am very grateful for this submission and for your other contributions. Just provide references for those other two sections, relist the article, and another editor (not myself) will review the article, not any issues I missed, and hopefully pass it. Keep up the good work, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you. :) Thanks again, --Cerebellum (talk) 23:04, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
