Romanian militaria

[edit]

Hi! The only way I can help right now is by giving you the links with info (I am in a terrible lack of time these days). So, here you can find all the information about the Romanian decorations (starting with page 77 in French, and starting with page 157 in English). Also here you can find the Hierarchy of Awards. If I find anything else that could help you, I will tell you here.

Bellow is a list of websites of Romanian Military that may be helpful:

Hello, and my apologies for taking so long to get back to you. Yes, please feel free to use the rank insignia images in your article.    ¥    Jacky Tar  21:59, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks! --Kwasura (talk) 20:30, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Need help (Romanian Navy)

[edit]

Hy! I would say "88th See River Division". I am not sure how to translate exactly "vedetă" as a type of warship; defenetly not "star". --ES Vic (talk) 21:36, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is like "observation"? --Kwasura (talk) 22:16, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand from this website (Romanian Naval Forces ranks insignia) that the personal in the RNF is comprised only of Flag Officers (Amirali), Officers (Ofiţeri superiori şi inferiori) and Warrant officers (Maiştri militari). --ES Vic (talk) 21:00, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well now, I would like to know where to add (correctly) the paratroopers! There is no Romanian Paratroopers' Forces Staff, and I'm not sure wether they are a special branch of the air forces or of the land forces. Unfortunately, the table here is incomplete: It misses the ranks in the General Inspctorate for Aviation (Inspectoratul General de Aviaţie), the Firefighters (IGSU), the Secret services, and the Border Police. Also I am looking for the collar insignia for these ranks. --ES Vic (talk) 17:46, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tactical recognition flash, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Parachute Regiment and Royal Irish Regiment (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
