Sorry, you misunderstood me. It's to long for the lead and besides that a straight copy edit. You might want to shorten it in the lead (just including a short version of the origin of the word, which is by the way not only a Spanish but also a Portugese word (leaving now out several other languages of course), and add it more with your own words and remarks at the "Etymology" section where it is already covered and all you have to do is expand it for the better if you'd like.
