Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Secondary Board High School has been reverted.
Your edit here to Secondary Board High School was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://seconaryboardhighschool.blogspot.com) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:24, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership of content

[edit]

Hello Kritish Mohapatra, On my talk page you said "Why you edit SecondaryBoardHighSchool's page's information , it's my school's Wikipedia page so I changed it.please donot change it." You should familiarize yourself with the Ownership of content policy. After reading that it should be clear to you that neither you or your school own the Secondary Board High School article. Anyone can change it. You have no authority over the article or other editors.

The change I made was to remove two links you listed in the infobox. Both of the links I removed are available from the one link that I left. It is Wikipedia policy to minimize the number of external links and we try to have only one official link. For the related policy see WP:EL.

I hope you enjoy your experience editing Wikipedia. If you need assistance or have any questions feel free to ask me on my talk page. Gab4gab (talk) 14:39, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Secondary Board High School. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Kritish Mohapatra. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Secondary Board High School, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dirk Beetstra T C 07:37, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Gab4gab. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Secondary Board High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Content must be based on published reliable sources. Don't add information based on your personal knowledge. If you have published sources then cite them. Gab4gab (talk) 16:37, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Secondary Board High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Gab4gab (talk) 18:39, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can I add some images as reliable sources. Kritish Mohapatra (talk) 04:36, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In general you need published reliable sources. If you have images published in a reliable source then perhaps. It would help if you were specific about what you want to use. If you have photographs of material that is not published then I think you can not use it as reference. Gab4gab (talk) 10:10, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
