Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Kristenibrahim, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hyperparasite

[edit]

Just to let you know, I have now twice had to remove an extraneous paragraph. I gave the following edit comment the first time, which I assume you cannot have read (otherwise, you would be intentionally edit-warring, which I would not suspect you of): "Example: there are literally tens of thousands of species, all over the world, so it doesn't make sense to dive into one species on one small Swedish island, sorry - what we need here is a general account". By this I meant that there was no point adding a whole paragraph on one actually quite unremarkable example among many thousands of very similar cases. I have therefore removed it, again, and hope now to be able to stop doing so. Chiswick Chap (talk) 05:06, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
