DYK nomination of Urmila Matondkar filmography

Hello! Your submission of Urmila Matondkar filmography at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Cowlibob (talk) 05:56, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi buddy!

Prashant!, I did not have the intention to "ruin" your contributions or such. I have always been your well wisher, and you know that. I agree that was something silly (a premature nomination) I did, and didn't contact you before the attempt, for which I ask for an appology. I hope that you don't hold anything against me. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 09:07, 27 May 2015 (UTC) A good news for you! The silly nomination has been deleted, so no archive. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 11:49, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Hey, I have accepted your apology and hope the same from you. Don't worry I have nothing against anyone. I want to let you know that if all her other related articles ere GAs and if you had (then) nominated it for FT, I would have loved your gesture. My only concern was that I was knowing that all her other articles were not included as they are miles away from GAs. And, I know you wanted to help us by taking that to FT. So, you don't have to clarify. Also, I came back yesterday after a long vacation and when I switched on my desktop, it was like a shock. So, understand why I reacted like that. Don't worry I have nothing against you friend. Prashant 12:20, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I am glad you did not quit for good! I have had similar frustrations in the past, and after a cool down, I obviously returned! Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 12:49, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Actually, I was on a vacation after my last edit on 10 May and only came after 10 days and that too were minor replies. So, that's why I did not wanted to extend my holiday here.—Prashant 12:53, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I know that, but I wasn't aware of other sub-articles. If I did, I would not have nominated the topic in my wildest dreams. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 15:09, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I know that. Don't worry. By the way, what's the problem with that sorting? Can you fix?—Prashant 15:14, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I am in the process of fixing. -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 15:25, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
BTW, can you review this in the meanwhile? -- FrankBoy CHITCHAT 15:28, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

FLC comments

Prashant, Comments like this at FLC are disruptive (as are your comments to Crisco1492 that Krimuk90 "should be given a lesson". I will strongly urge you to temper your approach to all editors, particularly Krimuk90, given the bad blood between you both. If you can't "play nice" on his FLCs, then I advise you to steer clear of them. If you think, as you did with the Padukone filmography, that a small amount of information is missing or wrong, then label your text as Comments, rather than an oppose. The FLC process works best when editors work with each other, not against each other. If I see any more poor behaviour like this, then we may well have to take more formal steps to ensure it is not repeated. – SchroCat (talk) 09:45, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Sorry Schro. You wont see that again. I am sorry.—Prashant 09:55, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

DYK nomination of List of accolades received by 7 Khoon Maaf

Hello! Your submission of List of accolades received by 7 Khoon Maaf at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Yoninah (talk) 20:21, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Hii, can you please review it for GA. --Yashthepunisher (talk) 18:00, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Hey @Yashthepunisher: I think you should expand the article little bit because the current version is too small. Since, she had sone some brilliant work and is a phenomenal actress. It would be injustice to her talent so please expand it like some other Bollywood actresses articles. I think she deserves a better place but, I guess media wont acknowledge her contribution to Bollywood. Its also a fact that she does not have an over-enthusiastic PR like Deepika Padukone. PR can make her star like Deepika and then she will be everywhere without any reasons.—Prashant 12:03, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

Hey, I have expanded it a little. Is it okay now? --Yashthepunisher (talk) 15:15, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Still, not perfect. Please wait. I will help you in expanding it. As for now, please remove it from GA nomination. Let see what can be done.—Prashant 15:31, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
Ok. --Yashthepunisher (talk) 16:28, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Did I change the hook? You're very welcome for the review, by the way; think nothing of it; a pleasure. Belle (talk) 07:16, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Seriously, check the history to see who did change the hook; it wasn't me. I suggested the hook be shortened to make it more hooky (instead of giving away which awards she won in the hook, one has to go to the article to find out), though, essentially, one is either interested in it or not (using the photo of Priyanka Chopra would have helped it get more clicks, I think; a pity it wasn't in the top spot). Belle (talk) 07:16, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, but, how this can even happen when the took was something else?—Prashant 11:37, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
When it was promoted to the prep area by Victuallers with this edit. [[1]] The user cut the two awards using Belle's rationale on the DYK. In DYK, hooks can be modified by any user on promotion and while they sit in the prep area usually to edit for grammar or spelling or in this case to make the hook snappier. Only admins can modify once it hits the queue or is on the main page. Many hooks are modified in this way. Cowlibob (talk) 12:54, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
How can I tell an administrator to edit it? @Cowlibob: Do you know any administrator who edits DYK? Help me please.—Prashant 13:11, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Cas Liber already did with this edit. [[2]]. Cowlibob (talk) 14:09, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

List

Hey there! I have just created a list of films that I have seen. What do you think of it? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 01:38, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: Hey! I just saw it. So cool and I agree with your Hindi films rating. I have a long way to go as I have not seen so much movies. Was never interested in Hollywood films beyond Fantasy/superhero films. But, now I have started. Plus, I'm hardly interested in hindi films now. I watch barely 5-8 per year. I will try to watch Other films listed there. Any reccomendation?—Prashant 04:13, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
5-8? That's quite a lot from my perspective lol. I watch only half that amount. Which ones do you prefer, latest or "old is gold" films? Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:23, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
I prefer good cinema (doesn't matter old or new). I am unable to catch those classic movies. I have hardly seen those classics. Recently, I saw Ek Haseena Thi (can you imagine?) and felt It was great and Urmila rocked it. Plus I want to watch Rangeela.—Prashant 04:31, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Might I recommend Baiju Bawra. It's based on the life of Baijnath Mishra, a court singer who lived during Akbar's rule. He also trained under Tansen's guru, Swami Haridas. The film has brilliant music by Naushad and equally brilliant rendition by Mohammed Rafi. "After learning that his teacher had fallen seriously ill and was unable to walk, Baiju sings a song that so thrills Haridas that the master gets out of his bed and starts to walk." — That portion is the song, "Man Tarpat Hari Darsan Ko Aaj". Rafi is at his best here. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 04:38, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

@Ssven2: I will try to watch this film. Have you seen Pyaasa? I have heard so much about it but, haven't seen yet. I also want to see Mera Naam Joker, Pakeezah, Mughal-e-Azam, Awaara, Teesri Manzil and others. Among Greatest indian films, I have seen only Sholay, HAHK, Maine Pyaar Kiya , DDLJ, KKHH, Lamhe, Chandani, Lagaan and Gadar.—Prashant 10:00, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Nope. I will see it soon after my semester vacation begins. Trust me, Mera Naam Joker and Mughal-E-Azam are worth it. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 10:02, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Hey! Would you like to put your thoughts on Barfi! flc?—Prashant 15:15, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Here are some other old Hindi ones that I thought were quite good:

  • Bobby - 1973 - young love can be very strong, good songs (Dimple Kapadia is adorable)
  • Rangeela - great songs, great dancing, dancer wants to be Bollywood star (Urmila Matondkar is adorable)
  • Tere Mere Sapne - 1971 - a doctor's motives change, some truly beautiful songs (Mumtaz is stunning)
  • Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - beautiful music, etc (Aishwarya Rai is stunning)
  • Mother India - a mother struggling to raise her 2 sons alone in poverty
  • Kati Patang - complicated romance story, but good
  • Mere Mehboob - family honor gets in the way of love, some really romantic songs
  • Guide - a man becomes a swami by chance
  • Pather Panchali - at least, if not the whole Apu trilogy

BollyJeff | talk 12:58, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I will try my best to watch them ASAP, starting with Rangeela as I am a huge fan of Urmila Matondkar. I watched "Tanha Tanha" song on Youtube and man how brilliant it looks and sound. I can watch it for its music alone. Haha. Then, Pather Panchali, Mother India and the rest.—Prashant 13:15, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
I can't believe you haven't seen it then. She is just adorable in this film. BollyJeff | talk 13:28, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
It was always on TV during my teen years and you know how people in those years are like. So, I never tried to watch. Teenagers are more interested in films centred on Magic, slapstic comedy, wizards and all. I was no different. I recently gave a thought about Urmila's films and came across "Tanha Tanha". Now, I'm more interested.—Prashant 13:38, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Now that I think about it, some of these have another thing in common. See my added comments above plus one addition film that is not so old. FWIW, my all time favorite Hindi films are Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..., Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. BollyJeff | talk 14:16, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Well, DDLJ is also one of my favorite films. And, I like KKHH and K3G too. Have you seen David Fincher's Zodiac? It is one of my personal favorites.—Prashant 14:48, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
No I have not, but I will try to. Thanks. BollyJeff | talk 02:05, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Baahubali

You wanted to know the situation in the Telugu speaking states right? This and this shall explain better. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:31, 14 July 2015 (UTC)

I am not surprised. Can imagine what might be happening there because here is also same kind of situation. Baahubali's morning show on monday was 'Sold Out (one friend told me, they went to see the film0 and they got tickets for the noon show which was in the front row. Wow!! It doesnt happen here because a film like Happy New Year was playing with only 20 people on monday morning show. I overheard someone saying that the tickets are being blackmarketed like it is the last film to release on earth. It is still running with packed theatres.—Prashant 15:46, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
I never imagined in my wildest dreams that Baahubali would be this big. When i was watching Eega, i thought that Rajamouli may not surpass this anytime soon. Such insanely creative and riveting it was. But now, Eega really looks like a fly before this giant. After making Magadheera (considered as one of the best Telugu films), Rajamouli chose to make Maryada Ramanna, a shoe-string budgeted comedy film. Now, what will he do after Baahubali: The Conclusion is anticipated. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:56, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
Actually, I was searching something here and then I went to Eega's and then SSR. That time Baahubali was in production, only that time I came to know that a two part film is being made by SSR. But, I don't know I somewhat knew that I will definitely look at it when it's out. Then this May, when my exams concluded, that time I was not using the internet much, was only using twitter a bit. Then Karan Johar tweeted about presenting Baahubali and I didn't bother to watch the trailer. I saw the trailer with Dil Dhadakne Do and I was like "Okay...It looks like Avatar meets Mahabharat and will watch once". I googled but was not interested to read anything in detail (abouty it). Then I came back after semester break to college and that time it was released and I went to see the film in evening only because I was not ready to get back to my idiot roommates. And, after watching it, i saw it 3 times more with my friends and everyone loved it. I didnt expected this kind of movie from any Indian director but, SSR has done it. Anything he makes next, everyone's eyes will be on that and mine especially.—Prashant 16:16, 14 July 2015 (UTC)

Watched Baahubali: The Beginning today at this theatre. A grand, spectacular and excellent film from Rajamouli! Waiting for Part 2. Ssven2 Speak 2 me 16:34, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

Hey! @Ssven2: the theatre looks nice though. I saw it once in a single screen (I always watch in a multiplex) because someone (a friend) invited me to. People in these screens are so wild and crazy. It was all whistling, clapping and cheering throught the film. But, I didn't like the way people commented/reacted on Tammanah's makeover and that small undressing scene. I wanted to kill those idiots. I don't see myself going to a single screen again. And, yeah I'm also waiting for the conclusion. I hope we can put The Beginning on front page on the release date of The Conclusion.—Prashant 18:37, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't know whether it was an original one or an inspiration, but IMO that sequence of Tamannaah was a sensibly shot one. Well, I hope we can put The Beginning on front page on the release date of The Conclusion — What do you mean by this? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:59, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Yes that shot was really good, but the audience you know, are so eager to see naked women on screen so they were shouting such vulgar words. In India, i don't like audiences reaction to these kind of kissing, love making and intimate scenes. They are not showing something new that you will shout like a fool. These things are natural, everyone doess in their bedrooms. But, these scenes in India feels like they are watching porn for the first time. And, I meant by saying I hope we can put The Beginning on front page on the release date of The Conclusion — that we should take it to GA then FA and put in on front page at the release time of the second part.—Prashant 03:24, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm sorry to say this but, it is impossible for now. I and Kailash29792, after a thorough discussion and a "battle with fanboys" have reached a conclusion that Baahubali: The beginning and Production of Baahubali need to be rewritten completely from the scratch. For the hype we have and the fanboys' enthusiasm, it will be needless to say that GANs shall fail due to stability concerns and POV issues. Thus, sadly, we can only try anything better after euphoria of the conclusion dies! The only thing you can do is to try to bring either S. S. Rajamouli or Prabhas or Rana Daggubati to GA/FA (if possible) status. Please do not assume that i am demoralising you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:21, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Hey! Take it easy. I was talking about taking it to GA or FA next year and not right now.—Prashant 10:20, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
I was also speaking about next year. Not right now. Even 2016 is impossible. Late 2017 is a safe bet. For now, as i sad earlier, SSR is something we can and should concentrate. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:54, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Okay. Meanwhile would you like to put your thoughts on Fashion flc as your comments always starts my nomination and they are quite impactful.—Prashant 17:21, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
I shall do it soon. BTW why you made your user page empty? Go, restore it back. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:07, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't know. I almost forgot about it.—Prashant 07:09, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

Kaif

Why was it necessary to move her filmography to a separate article? This was already rejected last year. See Talk:Katrina_Kaif#Filmography_table. BollyJeff | talk 14:07, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Well, I wasn't aware of that discussion. But i think the filmography page is alright as we can see Padukone and Ranaut filmography do exist, whose parent page is similar to Kaif.—Prashant 14:10, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Hope you're well. I'm already working on this list. As you can see by me updating the table, am going to add the lead within a day or so. Could I ask you kindly to work on something else in the meantime? Cowlibob (talk) 10:52, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Well she is one my favorite actresses from the 90s and I wanted to work on her filmography. I don't know what to do.—Prashant 10:55, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
I've been working on it for a few days now so wanted to finish it up. I have no problems if you want to do it up for FLC later, just give me today to finish up a draft of the lead. Cowlibob (talk) 11:12, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Okay. Do it.—Prashant 11:19, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
@Cowlibob: I have something to ask regarding the box office results of film and exxagerated praise for actors and actresses. I have noticed that some articles say this and this film is the highest or one of the highest grossing film with afemale protagonist but, if we are usin g the Box Office India sources now then we will have to completely follow those sources, who never shout that this or this is the highest female centric film. BOI doesn't even acknowledge actresses for the success of those films and its evident by their posts. They say that a female film works on good word of mouth, which is completely true. So what to do there?—Prashant 11:25, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Warning for edit-warring on multiple articles. Thomas.W talk 13:25, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Got beat to leaving the warning. You BOTH are past 3RR on two articles. You BOTH need to stop. Now. Use the talk page and DISCUSS this. This is a clear bright-line violation of 3RR and if either if you gets reported you BOTH will be blocked. Stop reverted on either article. Ravensfire (talk) 13:28, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Well, I am sorry for that. But, I have provided the souces for those changes. All Indian articles are exxagerated with praise and I am trying to make it neutral. I am ready to talk but he is not. Tell him to discuss. Thanks—Prashant 13:30, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Start a discussion on the article talk page. It's that simple. Ravensfire (talk) 13:36, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
@Ravensfire: I hope you have seen that editor's edit summary after blanking his talk and user page. This is the main problem. He doesn't want to discuss anything and want to add every fluff without asking anyone. But he will revert you with a "Discuss on talk page" message. I mean he doesn't allow anyone to cross his fluff. This user thinks that whatever he says is true and rest is false.—Prashant 13:47, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I'm a fucking useless scoundrel who does nothing good here. So, Prashant!, after all these years of feuding with you, I officially give up. You were right all along. I am A FUCKING BLEEDING HYPOCRITE AND THE WORST PERSON IN THIS WHOLE FUCKING WORLD. Have a good life, you! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 13:55, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
@Krimuk90: Remember that day Krimuk when I left and then came back the other day, you made fun of me, you laughed at me. But I'm not like you. Also, I am not a brilliant editor like you. So, I request you to come back (you will) after few days because you write very well. It's just that you hate me so much that whatever I say, you take it other way. I didn't say you are the worst person ever. I only said that you play favorites on wikipedia. But I am not like you. You always add exxagerated praise to your articles but you can't stand other articles like Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and off course the top of all isPriyanka Chopra. In Kareena Kapoor's article, her film Satyagraha is written as box-office success, which is absolutely false. In fact Satyagraha was a flop, but you never corrected that. And, you have removed commercial success from Mary Komm, which was a commercial success. I never mentioned this because I was waiting for the right time. But, after giving this evidence, your friends on wikipedia, with whom you are currently talking through e-mails and abusing me, doesn't give a shit about this. And, I don't care because you know why?, I have never played favorites, despite the fact that Chopra is my favorite actress. I wish you all the success in your life and I know you don't wish the same for me. Good luck!—Prashant 15:54, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

RE:Hey!

Hi there,

I reviewed List of accolades received by Fashion (film) for featured list conisderation, and found no major problems. Would you proofread Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for featurred list promotion, as well?

Oh, and please be very considerate about your behavior on this site. I know we all get passionate about certain subjects, but please be courteous.

--Birdienest81 (talk) 05:53, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
@Birdienest81: Well, I was about to comment on your list but due to some problem, I couldn't at that time.—Prashant 08:12, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

Mary Komm

You have only one better alternative. And, that is to visit WP:GOCE/REQ and place a request there. Almost none are accepting direct c/e requests. Rest is your call. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:57, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

I was going to list it for GA today. But, I don't know. I was hoping to get it as a TFA on 5th September 2015.—Prashant 16:01, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
Even if you list it, the prose shall become a major problem. Do one thing, ask Scribbleink to copyedit the article after explaining your intentions briefly. If Scribbleink too refuses, you have no other way than olacing a request at WP:GOCE/REQ. Good luck! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:06, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Advice

Prashant, I'm somewhat disturbed by your apparent mission to get your latest efforts reviewed before FAC. I also note that so far, you have been largely unsuccessful in trying to recruit any willing reviewers. Here's why: You seem to be taking the rejection or lateness in reviews personally and and there is no real reason for you to be doing this. Dr. Blofeld, Gareth Griffith-Jones and FrB.TG are just some of the editors who have been subjected to your annoying persistence and your aggressive requests and reminders. May I remind you that people do have a life away from Wikipedia and their personal circumstances, work commitments, and home life come first and way before any review on Wikipedia. If you want people to invest their time in reviewing your articles then it might do you a favour to act in a better way towards others, take no for an answer, and respond politely if the answer is no and without assuming the editor is being unhelpful. You also need to stop with the repeated requests and stop being so self conscious when people knock you back. CassiantoTalk 20:32, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

I second Cassianto. Past comments like this and this indicate you take things too personally. Also, you should be know that WP:FACR requires the article to be stable. Mary Kom (film) was fully protected this month because of a content dispute and edit warring still continued after protection expired. I don't think you can claim it's all the other users' fault as I see some experienced editors participating on the talk page and good points being made. You need to dial it down a couple notches and try to treat them as professional colleagues. Both the editors involved here, Cassianto and Dr. Blofield, are passionate about their work but you won't see them seeking reassurances of friendship or saying anything like this to people who work on GAs and FAs. Please think about what we've said and realize how your posts are sounding to other editors. --NeilN talk to me 03:01, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm sorry for that @Cassianto:, @NeilN: and @Dr. Blofeld:. This thing won't be repeated. Actually, I'm very emotional in real life and I have always thought Dr. Blofeld as my mentor and friend. This relationship was ruined in an unwanted process. He got upset and never treated me like he used to. That's it.—Prashant 05:39, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Who got upset? I politely stated I'm not copyediting or reviewing at the moment. it was you who took that as me being upset and taking it personally. I've got better things to do with my time than get upset with somebody as emotionally unstable as you Prashant.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:47, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
@Dr. Blofeld: I am not talking about yesterday but 2013, when you got upset and shut me down. I tried every single method to re-gain your trust and friendship and you never gave a thought about the same. That's it.—Prashant 13:00, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Why are you still nursing wounds as far back as 2013? You really need to get a grip Prashant and move on with your life. CassiantoTalk 15:26, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
The moment when more than two people give the same advice, it is time for introspection and subsequent rectification. Here there are more than two.... Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:45, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
An FA from an unrated article for an veteran FA editor in one month is a very difficult task so to set that as goal is setting yourself up for failure which will only lead to more anger. I'm also concerned by the recent comments you've made "I have given so many days to the article and if won't appear on the main page on its fisrt anniversery, then everything will go in vain (my work; since i worked for that purpose)" [[3]]. If you're prioritising Wikipedia over real life, I think that's a sign that it is time for you to go on a break for your own benefit. Please consider it. Cowlibob (talk) 22:34, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

you have a lot of dedication prashant!, remember there is no WP:DEADLINE. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 23:06, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

  • Prashant, please don't just mindlessly delete whole threads of conversation without good reason. Per WP:TALKCOND you must archive things unless it's grossly offensive, in which case you should be at ANI reporting it. It's also quite rude and dismissive binning advice given to you in good faith. RE:Hey! II

There was not anything I found wrong with List of accolades received by Mary Kom (film). Could you review 78th Academy Awards for me please? I would appreciate it.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of accolades received by Mary Kom (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Highway (2014 film). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A barnstar for you!

The Half Barnstar
Immensely value your patience on certain users grudge on your hard work. I'm sure everyone can see what's happening here. But keep your chin up mate. Your doing a great work. Daan0001 (talk) 21:40, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
@Daan0001: Thank you. Well, i'm trying to be calm. But you can see, despite many supports, my article has still not passed the FLC and this is upsetting. All my FLC take more than a month to pass because of you know (everybody knows).Krish | Talk 07:37, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
You really need to dial back the conspiracy theories. I've contributed to lots of FLs and my nominations can still take time to be promoted but I don't "blame" anyone for it and in fact some of the later comments can point out glaring issues that hadn't been picked up earlier. I just get on with working on the next one and engage politely with people's unresolved comments or review other people's lists if I have the time. Contributing to featured content is not about collecting "stars", it's about creating the best content you can. The "stars" are just motivation. Cowlibob (talk) 17:12, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
@Cowlibob: I meant to say that if you look at some people's comments on my flcs, then you would realise what that's all about. Some people pretend to be bust just for that flc. LOL. But they continue doing their work and will come up with one comment after one week and then their second after 15 days. Sometimes, they would come up with such silly problem that i laugh at it but i still try to solve it. If you can look at the Mary Kom flc then you can understand what i'm talking about.Krish | Talk 12:43, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Not sure what you're getting at. The reviewer started on August 11 then replied on 15 and has been replying on the FLC on an almost daily basis since [[4]]. Just because someone is active elsewhere on Wikipedia doesn't mean they're ignoring the FLC. Editors often are working on multiple projects at once as well as real life activities so you can't expect them to prioritise work which is important to you over everything else. Cowlibob (talk) 19:55, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

Could you please kindly proofread the 2015 Oscars for featured list promotion? I appreciate the feedback.

Advice

I'd rather not clutter up another FrB.TG's page. I'm giving you advice on how to avoid getting into conflict with others and you respond with conspiracy theories yet again. Every conflict you have been on in Wikipedia has had an easier solution which would not lead to anger. You're not a special user, being on Wikipedia means you're going to run in conflict with others like every other user, what makes the difference is being able to handle it when it does. Next time you think of writing insulting, derogatory or hate-filled statements, just count to ten and think. Am I right in this situation? If so what statement or action could I do to allow the other person to agree with me. Insulting and harassing others, accusing them of being part of giant conspiracy or blindly reverting without giving a valid reason only leads to people not believing you even if you're correct. Cowlibob (talk) 19:26, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

Cowlibob Thank you for this advice. I will definitely count to ten and control my anger.Krish | Talk 12:05, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
Have you reformed, [5] no isn't? Vensatry (ping) 06:57, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Why don't you help me in passing that deserving flc? I can only see you are trying to take me down, down, and down.Krish | Talk 07:02, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Why can't you be polite? Given that, I don't even know you personally I don't have to bring you down, down, and down. I ain't a delegate. Please read PresN's note, there is no deadline. Vensatry (ping) 07:36, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
