Quotes
[edit]Hi! I saw that you posted some quotes to colorism. I had to remove these because it posed a copyright issue for Wikipedia, as large block quotes like this aren't allowed in this format. Because the site operates under a CC BY-SA 3.0 License, only small quotes should be used and even then, only when the content can't be paraphrased. This goes over the general policy with quotes. Also, in general you should only post content live once it's ready to go live. I'd recommend using your sandbox as a workspace instead.
Another thing to note is that the article Discrimination based on skin color is actually the colorism article - it's just that they gave the article a more general title because there are a few different words out there for colorism and calling it discrimination based on skin color works to cover all of the terms. For what you want to add (info on colorism in the US), you should edit Discrimination_based_on_skin_color#North_America. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:46, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
