[edit]Hello Kozan Huseyin. I've reviewed your recent edit to m&ms. While the 400M production seems reasonable, I'm concerned that your edit summary said you found the information in Forbes but you actually cited a website that openly solicits paid articles with no clear editorial oversight. I'm not reverting the information because I don't have a better number to insert into the article, but any further information you have to support the number would be helpful. Hi User_talk:Etamni not sure if you can see this. Good point. I must have been on Forbes, then went and done research and thought I was still on Forbes. I have done few checks and found few more places quoting that fact. One a PDF on an edu domain with a reference to M&M's FAQ as a source for the information. Also in a book on Google Books search. Will also fix the Forbes reference. Thanks for pointing it out. I have also seen the reference on LA Times, and think that's the best for this fact. Let me know your thoughts and will update. --Kozan Huseyin (talk) 07:34, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
- I think that what you are looking for is the ability to "ping" someone. There are several ways to do that. The easiest is to type {{ping|username}} where you replace 'username' with the actual username of the person. For example, you would have answered above with {{ping|Etamni}}. Also, in order for the ping to work, you must sign your post at the same time you ping. (Use ~~~~ for that.) As for the content we are talking about, any source that has a reputation for fact-checking is better than the one that was actually used here. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 08:01, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
Fantastic {{ping|Etamni}} that is a great help :) Ok, thanks for the input. ~~~~
- Are you editing from a mobile device? Or did you copy exactly what I wrote? The brackets plus the words 'nowiki' should not have been typed, but only the text as it appears in my comments above when you are not in edit mode. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 08:18, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
- In any case, I won't see your reply (if any) for several hours. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 08:19, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
Have a great night @Etamni:. Yes, I just realized. I'm on PC, but that's what it's showing. Played around with it and realized it works without the nowiki, so here it is! @Etamni:!!! Thanks again :) Kozan Huseyin (talk) 08:22, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
