[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Gestrid (talk) 18:00, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- Why I will be blocked? What wrong I did? You have been undoing my edits and now you're threatening me that you you will block me? See you yourself stated that "nstead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors" but are you doing so? I edited this page: Ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus and its talk page and added tags accordingly. Then User:Marvellous Spider-Man started questioning me in edit-summary and undoing my edits. I replied him on his talk page and he stopped. Then User:Gestrid started undoing my edits without discussing anything with me or on the article talk page. Now he is saying he will block me for this! - I will take a look at the edits. However, please note that you are not supposed to edit war under any circumstances. If your edit gets reverted, you need to study the justification given in the edit summary and discuss with them. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 18:59, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- I have already explained on the article's talk page how to tag the specific sources that you find unreliable. That is what you need to do. Remember, no edit-warring. If you do one more revert on that page, you will be blocked! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 19:03, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind explanation. I will not edit war anymore. I will continue discussion on the article's talk page. Koujaterin (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
