Strawberries to relieve the stress
I fully empathise that the exam season can be stressing, and can make people a bit snappy at times. So here's a nice bowl of juicy strawberries, to cheer you up a little, and ease away some of that stress. Wikilove for a lovely Kosmo. What are you studying by the way, or is it just general school exams? Wesley☀Mouse 19:28, 11 June 2012 (UTC) |
- Much appreciated Wesley. I'm studying chemistry I have no energy to study for exams. That's pretty much about it, lol. – Kosm1fent 19:33, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ohh chemistry, how exciting. I remember being expelled from one chemistry lesson during my school years. I mixed together 2 chemicals that shouldn't have been mixed, and caused a bit of a messy explosion. Not an explosion as in the building blowing up, but an explosion as in the entire classroom was covered in sticky goo. Looking back on that now, I laugh about it, but at the time I was scared. Wesley☀Mouse 19:37, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
- You're lucky that you actually did experiments at school. My first time in a lab was as freshman at university, lol. – Kosm1fent 19:41, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

- (considering the others already are wiki-strawberries) Some wiki-wiki-strawberries: managed this (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/177.0.204.119), don't ask me why, the admin must have felt magnanimous that day. Maybe KOSTAS/JIMIS/WHATEVER is in for a surprise one of these days if he persists, who knows...
Best of luck, regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 00:03, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

- WES and KOSM, look what i found (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/46.198.110.136), has used it more than one day, have already reverted some of his "contributions". Style can be found at least in Mossoró (footballer). We will NEVER WIN. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 11:22, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- Who said we'd win? :P The IP edits didn't show up in my watchlist, so thanks for taking care of them. :) – Kosm1fent 13:40, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of P.A.O.K.–Iraklis rivalry
- (Translation from Greek: You did a good work with the article. However, whether there is a rivalry or not must be established by reliable third-party sources, and unfortunately I haven't found any yet. If you can find some, please feel free to add them and the article may be saved. As for your last question, I'm not an administrator, however I'll be glad to help you. One last thing, please use English as this is the English Wikipedia. Cheers.) – Kosm1fent 12:37, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Aldo Teqja
Just a heads up. I've taken this article to afd. It was previously deleted by PROD, making it ineligible for PRODing a second time. Cheers. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:36, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oops. I've actually done this mistake before, and an article (can't remember exactly which one) was deleted for a second time by PROD, lol. Thanks for the heads up. – Kosm1fent 06:47, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Invitation and Greek lesson
Hi there KOSMO, hope your exams are going 200% well, and nice going on that Portuguese-Greek football summit, they worked well (Santos+23),
now, for the title(s) of my message: 1 - received this notification on my talkpage, was told to pass it around (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:VascoAmaral#WP_Football_in_the_Signpost); 2 - can you please tell me what this summary is saying in Greek (here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tito_Vilanova&diff=498367864&oldid=498367735 dunno why but the last words seems to be "Mourinho")? What an utter piece of...i'll save that last word! Did nothing more than destroy Tito Vilanova's page in last 30 minutes, even replacing the warnings on his talkpage with "poetry" of the highest caliber.
Crybaby Real Madrid fan? I think he is, and i may have made another enemy because i could not resist dropping a line in his page when i saw what he was doing in Vilanova. By the way, any news of User:Antony1821 and his wikicousins? Kind regards, keep it up (wikiwise and the rest) - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 17:49, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I know some Greek, but regardless of the translation of the summary; the edit is blatant vandalism, as the user just added time stamps using ~~~~ repeatedly. I hope a vandal warning was issued to the IP for that. Wesley☀Mouse 18:02, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- P.S. The IP had been blocked for 2 weeks, for vandalism. Wesley☀Mouse 18:03, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Nice to hear from you too WES, hope all's super swell (i'm almost 40, i should not be using this terminology :)). Yes, i already knew the "user" had been blocked before i wrote my first lines. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 18:06, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'm just in the middle of posting a message to the blocking administrator, as I don't think s/he is aware of the vile talk page edit to warning templates either. It could be a case of revoking the IP's talk page access, or increasing the block to indef. Wesley☀Mouse 18:09, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi Vasco. The Greek edit summary you provided urges Mourinho to have sexual intercourse with himself. Yeah. Classy! As for Antony1821, things have been surprisingly quiet lately, which is good; that does not mean we'll keep our guard down, does it? ;) Cheers. Also thanks to Wesley for replying while I was away. :D – Kosm1fent 20:17, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- I stand corrected after your note, it's a FC Barcelona crybaby "fan"! Keep it up mate --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:47, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Six months for the anon IP, no doubt he'll find out another one, if he hasn't already...we'll be here! Have a great weekend, keep it up --Vasco Amaral (talk) 13:21, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Of course he will evade yet another block. But indeed we'll be here. ;) Cheers, have a great weekend too. (and congratulations to Portugal for qualifying to the semifinals!) – Kosm1fent 13:25, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- This reply will surely blow your mind, but could not care less about Portugal's fate, Ronaldo's antics (and hairdo halftime changes) are making me sicker by the day, do you notice how he celebrates most of his goals? Standing like a statue with his arms open as if saying to the teammates "come to daddy", or pointing to his cuadriceps?
Yes, i must be jealous of him and his success, like he pointed out last year - his words not mine - "People are jealous of me because i'm a great footballer, rich and handsome". Want another "charmer"? He was asked to grade the season of Real Madrid from one to ten, he did so: "10 for me, 9 for the team"! Between him and Mourinho i really can't "choose" (which is no reason for people to vandalize their articles on WP!).
You hang in there my friend, all the best! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 13:57, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Haha yes, apparently the word "modesty" doesn't mean a lot to Ch. Ronaldo. At least his talent kind of makes up for his character. :P – Kosm1fent 14:14, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Just a couple "did you know" more before i leave you (not for good man): ever since i was self-conscious i have never supported a team, not even the national one. But i do love football, and i loathe: clubs with 18-25 foreign players (pretty much 99,99999% of the teams in my country) and national teams with nationalized players; i also can't stand arrogant millionaires who think they are owed something (see above).
Cheers! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 17:06, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- So I guess you hate Germany, huh? :P I agree with what you said; I don't have a problem with foreign players in a team only if they don't overshadow the home-grown players. Cheers and wish us luck for tonight. :P – Kosm1fent 17:13, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Indeed i do :) No Karagounis magic but that won't stop the Spartans!! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 17:40, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
Coalition of the Radical Left
I think you misunderstood me Kosm1fent.The given links are not particulary academic and given the political tensions should not bee seen as independent nor should they form the basis for an article. As you will se before the elections as you see the party was simply seen as Left-wing

- Reliable sources don't need to be academic – on the contrary, not all academic sources are reliable. Also, how exactly are BBC, France24 and Digital Journal non-independent sources? Regards. – Kosm1fent 16:02, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. It is easy for editors to get into conflict with each other, and things can get very nasty on the most trivial of issues, whether that be on the language of songs, the names of certain countries, or how we deal with incidents at the contest. In such circumstances it is worth remembering one thing: we are all here to build an encyclopedia, and the contribution of Eurovision to human knowledge can only be given justice if we work together and make articles, not drama!
Happy editing!

PAOK vs. Iraklis derby
Dimitrissss (talk) 23:51, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
- (Translation from Greek: The article is not lost. Go to WP:UND, request its undeletion and add the sources. If they are deemed adequate, the article shall be saved. If not, the article will go to a deletion discussion, where you can express your opinion. Have in mind though that, if it gets deleted via a deletion discussion, it will be very difficult to be saved for a second time. Cheers.) – Kosm1fent 05:25, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Greek stadia
Thanks ever so much Kosm1fent for the http://stadia.gr/maps/mapfootball.html link - I find the grounds very interesting (I go groundhopping in England!). In general I think that the Delta Ethniki club grounds are superior to those in the Terceira Divisão in Portugal and are certainly a lot better than lower tier club grounds in England. I have also referred to the links below:

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. The past month has been an eventful one for the project as a whole. Old dramas have closed, new ones have begun. Four articles nominated for GA review, three of them passed and promoted, with one of them making ProjectEurovision history by being the first annual contest article to ever achieve GA status. If it wasn't for the hard work and the many hours of team collaborations that we have endured on this project, then those accolades would never have been gained. Each of those article promotions are as a result of your continuous determination to be part of the best team this project has seen for a long time. There is a teamwork barnstar with this newsletter for you to cherish and you may display the award on your pages if you wish. Now we look to the months ahead and start preparations for Malmo 2013, and see if we can work to getting another annual article to GA status. Here's to you - the team of excellence.

Or is it?
Hi there my friend, me "revamped" here, hope all's fine by you,
could this be our "friend" User:Antony1821 aka all the others (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/J1mmys13)? Account already opened last here so it's doubtful, just saying...
Keep it up, all the best as always' my wish --AL (talk) 22:26, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
- Why "Always Learning"? :P Anyway, have fun with your new name! As for J1mmys13, there is no chance he's Antony1821, as he created his account last year when Antony1821's main account was active and there was no need to create socks. Additionally, J1mmys13 only edits Panathinaikos-related articles as far as I can see, which makes sense because "13" in their username is probably for Gate 13. Cheers! – Kosm1fent 04:10, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- Should have choosen ALWAYS NEVER :) Dunno man, just one of those momentaries lapses of reason, and i only recently heard of the dangers of editing with your real name. And the exams, over with and done? Take care. --AL (talk) 12:26, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- You made a wise choice then! Exams are over by the way, yes, and went decently. Cheers! – Kosm1fent 14:51, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- Think User:Antony1821 would just fade away, even if he is more active in GR.WIKI? I think not this has got to be him (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/178.128.75.123)! I wish to be wrong sooooooo badly...
Happy holidays and the lot, "see" you from Portugal - --AL (talk) 22:15, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, you are not wrong... I've found (and reverted) lots of edits of similar style to Antony1821's and also notified CT Cooper. It seems that he used a different provider than usually. Let's see how this unfolds. Thanks for letting me know! Cheers. – Kosm1fent 05:22, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Mostafa Afroto transfer to Atromitos
This is the news source claiming that Mostafa Afroto will sign with Atromitos. Unfortunately, this page is in arabic so you cannot read it. I am Egyptian and I have read this. I believe that this is a very reliable source since this is Goal.com, one of the most popular and reliable website for soccer/football news. Afroto has told a news source in Kuwait which was reported to the Egyptian version of Goal.com that Afroto will be joining Atromitos the upcoming season.
http://www.goal.com/ar-eg/news/2999/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%85%D8%AA%D8%A7%D8%B2/2012/08/07/3291883/%D8%B9%D9%81%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%AA%D9%88-%D8%A5%D8%AA%D8%B7%D9%84%D8%B9-%D9%84%D8%A5%D8%AB%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%B0%D8%A7%D8%AA%D9%8A-%D9%81%D9%8A-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%86 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.89.53.29 (talk) 20:10, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- There has been absolutely no mention of him on Greek sources, nor on the club's website. Which probably means that either the move is not finished (so as to include the player in the club's squad) or the story is a hoax. – Kosm1fent 20:23, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
OK, you're right this piece of news did not say that is was official but the player is confirmed moving to Atromitos. I will edit the squad when it is official — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.89.53.29 (talk) 20:54, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Quite confusing my friend, but i'll try to be precise...
Some months ago you inserted a ref about him moving to Everton, but some "user" removed it without one word a few days ago (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jacobo_Sanz_Ovejero&diff=prev&oldid=506057820), i reinstated it! Strangely, in the ref he added to replace yours, Jacobo is not mentioned ONCE!
The problem is, since i don't know a word of Greek i have to ask this: is it possible that you wrote the club wrong in that Nova Sports article and it is not Everton? Because he did have a trial with Middlesbrough, but it is very recent, so the confusion is evergrowing :(
Anyways, i have tried to improve the overall display of article (they even had a sub-section for the Middlesbrough trial!), do whatever changes/corrections you see fit, excuse me if i made any mistakes unintentionally.
Happiest of weekends, cheers --AL (talk) 12:55, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
- The article I added a while ago was right after he terminated his contract with Asteras Tripoli, and it reported rumors that he'd sign for Everton. Later, as we know, he had a trial with Middlesbrough, so I suggest we drop the Everton issue entirely. Cheers! – Kosm1fent 16:10, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
Re: Olympiakos Volou
Hello my friend, i made some changes associated Manuel Roca and Mario Bolatti but i noticed you undo them. I cant find a ref in English but i can find you a citation in my Greek language.
Olympiakos Volou is my favourite football team and i took personal responsibility to change all articles associated with Olympiakos Volou.
Manuel Roca and Mario Bolatti singed for olympiakos Volou. If i find a citation i'll add. Please do not undo them again.

Hello,
Please note that there have been some changes to operations surrounding Eurovision articles, these being that:

- The Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest articles have now been standardised to keep a consitancy throughout the project and to the genral reader too. Skeleton article drafts can be found for Eurovision Song Contest by Year and Junior Eurovision Song Contest by Year.
