Connection encryption
[edit]Regarding the message you posted at "Talk:Wiktionary", all Wikimedia Foundation websites, including Wikipedia and Wiktionary, are available encrypted via HTTPS: simply change "http://" to "https://" in the URL, thus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Konnerjr for this page and https://en.wiktionary.org/ for the English Wiktionary's home page. Unlike some websites that often deal with personal information and the like, Wikimedia doesn't require you to use HTTPS, but it is an option. (Wikipedia isn't the only site that "secretly" offers this option, either.) – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 07:00, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
