Altered speedy deletion rationale: BllankWall

Hello Kolbasz. I am just letting you know that I deleted BllankWall, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. GedUK  11:57, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

Declined BLPPROD: Ariminthea Rocker Bloodworth

Unfortunately, our policies prohibit the placement of a BLPPROD even when the only source in an article is a self-published blog. Silly policy, but you'll have to go with PROD or AfD here. My apologies. --j⚛e deckertalk 15:41, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. (And I see now that there's been some debate on the wording on the template...) Kolbasz (talk) 16:31, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Conflict of interest - Answer

Hi, I tried to include only facts and no opinions on the company or its games. Please, tell me if that is not the case or if you spot a non neutral concept ... Correction, actually, there was a number of downloads for which I didn't provided a reference, I just edited it. - User talk:Awoywood 21 Agugust 2013 —Preceding undated comment added 21:28, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Dear Kolbasz, Thank you for your notice. I understand the situation. I've never moved page before, and never tried to do such a cut-and-paste move before. Now I understand how it should be done. Previously, I explained at the article talk page that a renaming was in order, I just didn't know how to do it. Thanks again. Y-barton (talk) 03:08, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Parco delle Cascine

It's a translation from Italian in progress: I will add reference when the translation is complete, but thanks for notifying :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bheton (talkcontribs) 16:10, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Check. In the future, you might want to tag the page with |{{under construction}} or {{new page}}} at creation, to let reviewers know that you're not done creating the article. Or even better, you can use your user sandbox to flesh out the article before submitting it. Also for future reference: I noticed that you had originally created the article as Parco delle cascine before blanking it and recreating it as Parco delle Cascine. In the future you can and should move pages if you accidentally create them with the wrong title, rather than blanking the old page and starting a new one. This preserves the article's edit history. In this case, I added a redirect from the old article to the new. Kolbasz (talk) 16:28, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for your feedback! --Bheton (talk) 13:32, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nutrient agar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mass concentration (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

4 benzyloxy phenol

Hi you tagged 4 benzyloxy phenol as a copyvio, but it was copying a US government source, which was Public Domain. Be altert for sites ending in .gov, go the the home page and check the copyright statement (not all are public domain) This one is PD http://www.nlm.nih.gov/copyright.html. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:43, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

In this case, it isn't the work of a US government source, but copyrighted to Truven Health Analytics Inc. As can be seen in the very copied article itself. Kolbasz (talk) 11:34, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

business life

Thanks for noticing these articles; I think you missed the fact that they are also copyvio from the newspaper itself, and the other sources used, (This is actually fairly common for promotional articles that read fairly coherently, & I check it every time.) request to remove speedy deletion

hello Kolbaz, thank you very much for noticing the write up for Ventures Middle East. But I would like to request for the removal of speedy deletion as the article information are based on facts. I am still trying to add reliable references and webpages that proves those facts. I would require an ample time to finalize the link of sources but rest assured I will be working on it. I am hoping for your consideration for my request of removal the deletion tag. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirstenchloe (talkcontribs) 16:47, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

Make your case on the article's talk page. The administrator who reviews the speedy deletion tag looks at the talk page as well as the article before deciding on whether to delete or not. Kolbasz (talk) 18:56, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

A little less zealous please

Can you please resist your impulse to immediately edit the page entitled 'The Layer monument' until completed. Some of us have been contributing to Wikipedia for over ten years and find it rather tiresome to have one's own original contributions tweaked before completion. Norwikian (talk) 11:58, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

If you don't want that, you should consider tweaking your original contributions yourself in your user sandbox before submitting the article to the main namespace. Kolbasz (talk) 12:03, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Over-the-counter data

Hi, Kolbasz. I just submitted a page for "Over-the-counter data" and you noted it was COI. I can see why you thought that based on my connection with the topic, but I read Wikipedia's definition of COI (contributing to Wikipedia to promote your own interests, including your business or financial interests, or those of your external relationships, such as with family, friends or employers) and wanted to assure you none of these things apply to me (I don't even have a business - the website I host simply communicates the research). I am just a researcher who's concept is now being used by others (e.g., Metro Public Schools in Nashville is now applying the OTCD research and standards, Illuminate Education is now applying the OTCD research and standards, etc. and I am not involved or profiting from any of it... I just happened to do some research on a topic, which produced results that can significantly help students (I downplayed this in the Wikipedia entry so the piece would appear neutral, but the actual findings mean tremendous benefit to the students currently being hurt by faulty data use). This page does not in any way promote my own interests (including business or financial interests, of which I have none), and it does not in any way promote my external relationships (such as with family, friends or employers). It would be fine to even remove the mention of me as the concept's creator. The main purpose is to have this summary available so people can see its correct description when other people reference over-the-counter data. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenny Rankin (talkcontribs) 21:15, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Vibroacoustic Therapy is not a Fringe Theory

  • "Contemporary Vibroacoustic Therapy: Perspectives on Clinical Practice, Research, and Training Marko Pukanen and Esa Ala-Ruona. Music and Medicine 2012 4:128,originally published online 17 May 2012"

Abstract Vibroacoustic therapy (VAT) traditionally considered to be a physical and receptive type of music therapy intervention, uses pulsed, sinusoidal, low-frequency sound on a specially designed bed or chair. Today VAT is viewed as a multimodal approach, whereby the therapist works with the client’s physiological and psychological experiences, incorporating a mind–body approach. This article provides current knowledge in clinical practice emphasizing the systematic and documented implementations of VAT. This includes presentation and explication of the key elements of VAT, assessments, treatment plans and procedures, documentation, and evaluation of the treatment with recommendations for follow-up care in health and rehabilitation. Recent research is presented, and directions for future research are considered. Applicable views on clinical training and required competencies are outlined.

Speedy Tags Above

The above were all tagged by yourself as "should be SVG" - however, they are all located on commons (not en-wiki), therefore you became the "creator" and got the messages - all the en-wiki bits have now been deleted. You will have to go to commons to tag them. For info the template on commons is called Template:Convert to SVG  Ronhjones  (Talk) 17:33, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

I was just wondering during tagging and editing that article as the content given in the article is some what copied from external websites I hope. When I reviewed it and looks like the author tried to promote his article. Since I have limited editing buttons so I couldn't nominate it for speedy deletion. Thanks you for Nominating it as speedy deletion. Nechlison (talk) 13:03, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

The templates are all listed under their respective deletion criteria at Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion, so you can always type them in manually (which is what I do). Kolbasz (talk) 15:36, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

User making violation

Hello there. I am editor Nechlison , a user with the name Canadalovesnd(talk) is making violations and removing every tag when we editors review his recently created pages such as [1]. Some of his pages/articles are already deleted by other editors. Can you please respond to this user ? Thanks Nechlison (talk) 13:43, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

-- I deleted your tag the first time because you made some weird changes to [2] the which put two info-boxes into the article, and something unfamiliar and abnormal with the external links listing. Second time was just an accident. Canadalovesnd(talk) 13:57, 11 January 2014 (UTC) I've gone through your contribution and watchlist. your previous articles related to football game are deleted by other users and you were recreating them repeatedly. Your current article contains some copyrighted material also. So please avoid doing this again and again. See WP:CV also. Nechlison (talk) 14:09, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Y'all are aware that I'm just a regular editor and not an administrator, right? :) Kolbasz (talk) 15:38, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Probably best to wait more than a minute after creation before tagging a page for speedy deletion... CMAH (Connormah's Sock) 16:21, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

The moment an article enters the main namespace, it's up for speedy deletion if it falls afoul of any of the CSD criteria. This is what sandboxes and AfC are for. Kolbasz (talk) 16:25, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
That may be, but I find it to be more of a courtesy thing to not automatically tag any page one minute after creation. WP:AGF, no need to be too trigger happy... CMAH (Connormah's Sock) 16:30, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
