Law firm page review

I saw from your activity on the “List of largest law firms by revenue” page that you have an interest in law firms and was wondering if you would be willing to take a look at the changes I’ve requested to a law firm page here. Thank you for getting the photos of the Workers' Party leaders!! I have emailed all the parties in Singapore, but none were willing to release the copyright to photos, and the PAP did not even bother to reply me. It is their loss if they do not wish to cooperate with us.

@Seloloving: I'm so relieved that it worked! :) It was a combination of cold outreach and dumb luck. I've been in contact with so many people, including MCI and the PM's press secretary. It's been difficult with government because they have government-wide policies as regards official photos. But the PAP's Comms Manager has been helpful; she's now getting the MPs' staff to upload photos of them. I'm doing my best to facilitate their OTRS release emails, given how confusing the process is to a first-timer. Hopefully it all goes through fine. I'm very pleased in particular with the new photos of Lee Hsien Loong and Teo Chee Hean. TCH's is a massive improvement on the old one, and I'm looking forward to updating LHL's photo when the OTRS release email goes through. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 07:34, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Thank you :) I'm very happy it worked out. Credit where it's due: PAP really went the distance to satisfy the OTRS team. I wasn't able to get photos of all of Cabinet, because apparently the political office-holders exist in their own sort of nexus, so their photos will only come up when they decide to put them them. Lee Hsien Loong's photo got deleted though, was that not able to go through in time? I must say, the distance the PAP team went is commendable, as well as your contribution. I have spent months trying to gain photos from them with no success, even with the Workers' Party. One cannot understate your efforts and I only wish I had a relevant barnstar to award you.

For the LKY issue, I am trying to find his old press secretaries and SPH photographers, in hope of finding a photo. Other avenues I am considering are the Malaysian archives, but the website is not secured and requires me to enter an ID, so I am going to email them instead as their photos expire 50 years after publication. Haha that's very kind of you. Your words mean a lot to me. :) Lee Hsien Loong's photo was complicated because copyright was with MCI, and finding a suitable representative from MCI who is willing and able to transfer it is a sticky thing. I'll follow up with them again.

Great effort on LKY. I hope the Malaysian archives yield some results! LKY's last press secretary was Yeong Yoon Ying. I'd reached out to Chang Li Lin, who is LHL's press secretary, and Li Lin promised to reach out to Ms Yeong. I might drop her a note to ask if anything's happened on that front.
