I reviewed you. Shalom Hello 18:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you've twice added the term "Ministry of Magic" to the above page without any comment, and I see no comment by you on the talk page, where I have explained why I removed several items, one of which is the one you keep restoring.

Wikipedia content should be verifiable. Mom (disambiguation) isn't the page on which to place every single phrase composed of words starting with those letters: only encyclopedia subjects that are commonly referred to by those initials. If for instance the Ministry of Magic is commonly referred to in the Harry Potter novels as the "MoM", then it should be easy enough to cite the chapters in the novels where that usage appears. Another possibility would be that the phrase had entered common speech, to the extent that one might expect to find it in a dictionary. --Tony Sidaway 20:42, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

{{helpme}} I want to create a userbox and put a picture well a icon from "http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Icons_themes" in the ID box, and I dont know how, please help.

You're looking for the {{userbox}} template, which lets you create a custom userbox like this:
{{Userbox
  |id = [[Image:Image you want.jpg|40px|alternative text]]
  |id-c = id background color (i.e. #000000)
  |id-fc = id font color (Don't really need if you're using an image)
  |id-s = id text size (Don't really need if you're using an image)
  |info = info text
  |info-c = info background color (i.e. #FFFFFF)
  |info-fc = info font color (i.e. #000000)
  |info-s = info text size (Leave blank for default)
  |border-c = box color (i.e. #000000)
  |border-s = border width in pixels (usually 2px - 4px)
}}

Note that I've removed some parameters that you probably won't need - the full list is on the documentation page, which you can read by following the link above. Hope this helps! Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:01, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The marauders map.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The marauders map.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:08, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Admin coaching request status

[edit]
You have expressed interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. However, after reviewing your edit history, I feel you may need more experience editing (i.e., >2,500 edits & 4 months of activity) on Wikipedia before you can know for certain your ready to begin the process of becoming an administrator. Therefore, at this time, your application for Admin Coaching has been declined.

My suggestion would be to seek adoption from a more experienced user who can help you experience all of the various components of editing an encyclopedia. If you decide adoption is not for you, there is also the editor review process that may help you find areas to improve upon in our editing. If you would like to talk more about this, please feel free to leave me a my talk page. MBisanz talk 21:25, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Travian.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:46, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Travian Domains

[edit]
A tag has been placed on Travian Domains requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. 9Nak (talk) 05:43, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Travian Server List

[edit]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Travian Server List, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Travian

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Travian, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. Adding any more personal referal codes to external links is ground for immediate blocking. EdokterTalk 22:05, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
