List of current UFC fighters
[edit]- I gave a more thorough explanation of my reasoning in the talk page for this article, but for brevity it comes down to the fact that keeping up with and citing every fighters future fight would take more work than I'm willing to give and I don't think anyone else would consistently give it the time it needs and I would go insane if part of this article was constantly lagging behind in quality. Also I just think it dilutes the focus of the article too much from being a simple way to see who's in the UFC right now into a sort of catchall for all up to date fighter information.
- Beyond that, because I would be interested in seeing this consistently applied over a few months I strongly suggest taking over and trying this on the List of current Strikeforce fighters that someone made be copying all my templates and has since failed to maintain. Strikeforce's slower trickle of information would make it much easier to try out and keep up. If it works really well there then there may be a point to overhauling the UFC page. Alternatively you could also try starting a new roster page for an MMA organization that currently doesn't have one. I realize this may be nearly impossible given the limited number of options, but it may also give an extremely small scale to work out new ideas on.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 23:04, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- A list of current Bellator fighters would be pretty great, now that I think about it. And I would be fine with you copy pasting my template for the bulk of the design work.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 23:23, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how totally complete it is, but this would be the best place to start:http://www.bellator.com/Fighters.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=23600&FIGHTER_SPID=-1.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 04:14, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- Rather than posting this to my talk page I would highly recommend creating a User page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_pages. Just start a page called "user:Knoccout265/List of current Bellator fighters" and develop the page fully there and then you can link it to me to do the final edit if you're still worried about deletion, or you can just copy the final onto a "List of current Bellator fighters" article. Wikipedia encourages people to develop test articles in their user space so this would be a good way to go.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 12:50, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jayron32 05:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)List of Strikeforce fighters
[edit]Article doesn't suggest that Fedor is dropping down to Light Heavyweight (205 lbs). It mentions that Hendo may move up to Heavyweight, however its still in the early stage of planning so its isnt time to move Hendo up to Heavyweight just yet. When (and if) the match gets announced then it'll be time to move a fighter in the respective weight class based of the info that is released. But I do want to thank you for you interest in helping me restore that page. Bhark85 (talk) 23:37, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
