Heroes in Hell sources

Hi Knihi--

It certainly was difficult to search for these. I found two places where awards are mentioned and two books that discuss the series. You may have also come across similar sources, too:

• 1987 Hugo Award for “Gilgamesh in the Outback” by Robert Silverberg in Rebels in Hell.
• 1986 Nebula Award Nominations for “Gilgamesh in the Outback” from Rebels and "Newton Sleep" from Heroes in Hell
• Mentions in Encylcopedia of Fantasy about shared-world, Gilgamesh, Hell, etc.
• Mentions in How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy discussing shared-world theme

Here are my thoughts. The structure of these novels are several short novellas from multiple authors (all writing in the same fictional universe). Two novellas from two early books in the series (Heroes and Rebels) have novellas that are award-winning or nominated. These aren't unimportant, but it sure makes the rest of the books which have no awards or nomination looks pretty non-notable by comparison. And based on that, I still think Lawyers should be deleted or merged into the series page. As for whether the series makes a notable contribution to the field of literature, I think you might have something there, but it might be difficult to keep Lawyers with just that alone, because there's no secondary source coverage of it (yet). Consensus of the Heroes in Hell Merge - Did it include all of the Books and Stories?

According to my memory during the Lawyers in Hell AfD discussion about merging the Heroes in Hell articles into one large article, it was decided ALL the articles were to be merged. No mention was made of leaving any of the articles separate.

When I went to merge the one remaining article, one editor got really upset saying that the merge discussion did not include this article, Gilgamesh in the Outback. I believe that the consensus was for all articles. The admin who is currently handling the dispute was not involved at the time, and needs to see a show of hands.
