The article WorkWise Inc. has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Speedy deletion of WorkWise Inc.
[edit]A tag has been placed on WorkWise Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. EJF (talk) 16:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Re
[edit]Ok, I removed the tag from the page. However, the article is going to need some work because it currently reads more like an advertisement than an encyclopedia article. I will work on as much as I can, but I'm going to need you too fill in the gaps because I'm not familiar with the company. If you need some advice on how to write an encyclopedic article, this page should help. I'm going to start going over the article and I'll let you know when I'm done with it. Feel free to correct stuff while I'm working on it, as it may take me a little while. Regards. Thingg⊕⊗ 15:48, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- After looking it over, I think we would better off moving this information to the article on the product's parent company, as this product is probably not notable enough for a seperate article. Thingg⊕⊗ 15:58, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I'm done with WorkWise. Thingg⊕⊗ 16:33, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- hmm.... It looks to me that the company may not quite meet the notability requirements found in this page. I did the best I could with the changes I made, but I'm not sure if the article will be able to be kept or not. The main problem with the original article was it read like an advertisement, which is not acceptable for encyclopedic articles that must be written from a neutral point of view. Another potential problem is your edits may represent a conflict of interest because you are apparently associated with the company. While you are allowed to edit articles relating to your personal life, you always have to be careful to make sure that your real-life experiences with the subject do not influence the tone of your writing. (again, you must always adhere to a neutral point of view) I think it would probably be best to just leave the version of the article that has tags on it and see what becomes of it. Also, the other article you added (the one about the product of the company) almost definitely does not pass the notability requirements for inclusion in Wikipedia. (which is why I moved the info to the company article) Regards. Thingg⊕⊗ 17:54, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
