Speedy deletion nomination of File:Griffin House performing at the 2013 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Griffin House performing at the 2013 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Thank you. I am trying to resolve a dispute regarding the Ellis Paul article and am hoping you will lend support on the Talk:Ellis Paul page by offering a Third Party Opinion. In a nutshell, another editor removed a sound sample box that has been part of the article for 10 years. I would like to have a consensus to be able to add the sound sample back. The other editor said it was "excessive use" although I have been unable to find any guideline regarding that. The sound sample was used because the article noted that the song was the theme song in a major motion picture. To me, that was "commentary" enough to have included the sound sample despite was user Hoary said. Kmzundel (talk) 01:25, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Ibid. Also, if you want to ask questions or get feedback about things you're working on, there will be a WikiSalon (open meetup) this Saturday at the Chemical Heritage Foundation, 315 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia from 1-3 p.m. I'll be there, and so may others. Everyone is welcome, whatever they wish to edit. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 19:59, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Livingston Taylor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ben Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Ellis Paul Featured article review
[edit]I have nominated Ellis Paul for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regards to the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:02, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
====Sandy, I haven't logged into Wikipedia for months and am just seeing this today. :-( I am really bummed that the Ellis Paul article was delisted. Naturally with the pandemic, his touring life came to a standstill. He is just starting to tour regularly again and has a new album coming out which would have been newsworthy. --Kmzundel (talk) 19:40, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
