Kasargoud

How's life going in kasargod? Yesterday after having your call, I tried to call you from my hospital phone. But it didn't work. STD facility is not available. So I tried to SMS. I was trying to fit it within 160 characters, so i needed to edit it again and again and prune it within the limits.

I must be a little bit settled by now. Now take benefit of your school library. Read more and more and more. I had always dreamt of such time and such opportunities, but it was not my cup of tea.

Lot of literature, fiction and nonfiction, is there in the world that is meant only for us. The autour penned it only because he want you to read it. We should make their efforts worthy. We should make ourselves worthy to understand them. Make a habit to read nonfiction. It gives us a lot of knowledge. Fiction helps us to understand our feelings, nonfiction helps our brain to understand the world. Nothing in the world is useless.

Sometime, if I have really something worth to read, I will recommend you some names. I have gone through some names, but i never read them. Try them if you ever had an opportunity. eg. Orientalism of Edward Said, The Argumentative Indian of Amartya Sen etc. These are nonfictions, and they you help you to understand yourself as a person of East world, as an Indian. Also check Portal:Literature and other portals on wikipedia.

Try to learn new languages. You have got a very good opportunity to learn Malyalam and English. Take benefit of it.

I was on the way to RK. Suddenly, My sight found something to read on the wall of some sideby house. It was written:

एक घडी सत्संग की सुमिरन बरस पचास
बरखा बरसे दो घडी रहट चले बरमास

. ie. A few moments with you give me lifelong memories, Just like the brook keeps on flowing all over the year just after a rainy shower of few minutes.
