Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Kmakhdoom, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that the first article you have edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you might have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Please be mindful of those policies -- and note that Wikipedia is not a platform for promotional content. Also, please note our policy on verifiability and the need for reliable sources independent of the article subject. Removing content that is sourced to third-party reliable sources (as you did at University of Northern Virginia) is frowned upon.

If you are looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Orlady (talk) 16:40, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to University of Northern Virginia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Your edits are removing formatting, third-party sources, and other content. Most of these changes will need to be reverted. Please see Wikipedia:How to edit a page for information on article structure and formatting. Orlady (talk) 17:12, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
