Request reason:
I understand the reasons why my account was blocked and sincerely apologize; they were two very innocent mistakes. I had initially opened a Wikipedia account (this one) about 5 years ago and totally forgot that I had done it. Believing that I did not have an existing Wikipedia account, I opened an account last month to try and edit some untrue and slanderous information that was on a page I viewed. If I had known I had an existing Wikipedia account, I would have done it from my existing one. I sincerely apologize about the mistake and I will request that my second user page (katemacarthur) be deleted per the instructions on Wikipedia. I will also edit this account to indicate my employer. I am employed by Zrii, which is a company owned by William F. Farley. I happened to visit the William F. Farley Wikipedia page several weeks ago and saw that untrue, unsubstantiated and slanderous statements had been made about him by another user. These statements were either not substantiated at all (lacked citations), or were "substantiated" with citations that did not actually substantiate what was written in the article. I edited only the unsubstantiated or untrue statements in the article to make the article factual. I left everything that was true and substantiated, even if it was negative about William F. Farley (e.g., bankruptcies). My intention in editing the page was only to eliminate statements that lacked substantiation. I understand that going forward, I may need to submit edit requests for review (rather than making them directly, based on my position as an employee of Zrii). I apologize that I did not know this procedure before. Please clarify how to submit edits for review. Furthermore, I will also edit my account to indicate my employer. I hope that this clarifies the mistakes, which were made innocently and without intent to bias or harm. Thank you for calling my attention to them, and I promise to abide by the policies going forward.

- You created the page in question in a single edit of more than 17,000 bytes in 2011. Not sure how someone can forget they have started / written an entire Wikipedia article when that is the only article you have ever written.[1] Expecially when you work for the person in question. Request reason:
You stated that I said I did not remember writing the article about Mr. Farley. That is not true. I stated that I did not remember the account I wrote the article under. Several weeks ago I looked for a Wikipedia account under my email but did not see one, so I thought something must have happened to my old account and opened a new one. I did not realize my old account still existed, and that was an honest and innocent mistake which I apologize for. When I received an email alerting me that I had two accounts today was when I realized the old account still existed. I have stated that I did not appropriately disclose my current employment relationship. That was wrong and I apologize for that mistake. I will fix that and disclose my employer. However, I remain steadfast by my statement that I wrote an objective account of Mr. Farley and his history which included, among other things, negative events and press. If I must close both accounts, I understand that and accept whatever Wikipedia decides. I sincerely apologize and was only trying to make an objective page for Mr. Farley; I was not trying to create a biased article.

There's also Draft:Zrii. Even if we accept your explanation reg the two accounts, the content creation is clearly problematic in addition to the ToU violations. —SpacemanSpiff 06:41, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
