I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Hello Kjreinhold, thank you for your efforts to improve the article. However, separate lists of sites and apps already exist such as Comparison of online dating services and List of social networking websites. Also, the opinion of a lifestyle columnist about "popularity" is no reliable source or an objective useable encyclopedic criterion. Generally speaking, lists of indiscriminate "examples" without clear and objective inclusion criteria should be avoided.

Secondly, the information about Tinder and Bumble was far too specific for a broad general-topic article and gave undue weight to these details - see also WP:UNDUE. These details are mentioned in both of the sites' own main articles anyway (Bumble (app) and Tinder (app)), where they better fit in the site-specific context. If additional sourced details about this point become available, they could also be added to these two main articles. A separate applications-specific article also provides additional details at Online dating applications. Hope this additional information and clarification about the revert is helpful, but please feel free to ask if you have further questions. You can also post at WP:Teahouse, a good forum for new editors. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 12:56, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the recent image additions, aside from WP:NFCC please see also Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images about the selection of images for an encyclopedic article (they should be directly relevant and contain encyclopedic information - decorative images are generally discouraged), and WP:TONE (informal language and addressing the reader directly in second-person language should be avoided).
