Reliable sources

[edit]

Please note our guidelines on reliable sources for medical articles. Websites, letters to the editor and literature reviews from 1994 are not adequate to summarize the current medical consensus on the uses of vitamin C. In addition, personal opinion is never adequate to change a page (see WP:V) particularly if it misrepresents the consensus of mainstream experts (see WP:NPOV). Further, orthomolecular medicine is considered a fringe theory and articles published in the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine and the like are not considered the appropriate sources to substantiate unusual or suspect claims. I have reverted your edits to vitamin C and vitamin C megadosage. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 00:02, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please start a discussion about your changes on the talk page rather than edit warring. Edits must be justified by reference to reliable sources and the policies and guidelines. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 01:15, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
