User talk:Kittitian
Hey there, Kittitian, and welcome to our great encyclopedia, which currently has more than 6,915,041 articles! Even with this large number, all of your contributions are important (including the small ones), and I hope you like the place and decide to stay! Here's a few starting tips for you:
- You might want to check out the welcome page.
- Then you can have a look at our guidelines.
- After that, you can see here for a cheatsheet on editing pages (for a bigger list, see here).
After reading all this (or even just glimpsing at it), I can understand that you might feel apprehensive about editing and contributing articles, for fear of making a mistake. But don't worry too much about mistakes; after all, you're new. Instead, everyone here encourages you to be bold! If you need help with anything, feel free to leave me a message, or you can put {{helpme}}
on your talk page, and someone will show up shortly to give you a hand.
One last thing: when leaving a message on someone's talk page, don't forget to put four "tildes" (~~~~) to automatically sign your name.

Please add synopses and references
[edit]Hi There. Thanks for the great work on Caribbean articles. May I request that you add an edit summary when you save your edits? It helps other editors as they check their watchlists. Also, please don't forget to reference your material. Verne Equinox 22:16, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Springfield Cemetery and Chapel, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.st-kitts-island-hotels.com/city_guides.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:20, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Gourbeyre page, bad translation ...?
[edit]Hey. Thanks for your contribution. I'm just looking at Gourbeyre which seems to mainly be your work. It's clearly a poor (machine) translation of some original French text. I was wondering if you could give me, or reference on the page, the original work. I'm tidying the page up and it would be useful to check the facts are properly presented and also to have a reference to ensure that it remains NPOV. Thanks in advance, a fellow wikipedian Pbhj (talk) 20:40, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
That's a great looking contribution to Economy of Cuba. Do you mind citing some sources there? Otherwise people will come by later and erase all your hard work. Thanks, NJGW (talk) 19:19, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding the source for those facts. One more thing, since that source is copyrighted, you can't copy/past the text word for word (otherwise Wikipedia can be sued for copyright infringement). Do you mind rewriting the text in your own words so that it doesn't get deleted? Don't worry about grammar or anything, as I can fix that for you latter (after I get done with other work for the day. Thanks again, NJGW (talk) 20:02, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please, it looks like you're trying to help out, but copying material from other sites only hurts Wikipedia. Unless you change the text that you've added to various pages lately so that it isn't word for word lifted from other sites it will be deleted. NJGW (talk) 01:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've marked all the articles you've edited this month with the copypaste template. Please don't continue to add text from www.nationsencyclopedia.com with out rewording it, getting the author's permission, or showing that the information has a GDFL license or is in the public domain. Block
[edit]I've given you a very short block- just three hours- to stop you from adding any more copyrighted text to Wikipedia while I go through your contributions and remove the copyrighted material you've added already. When the block expires, feel free to make helpful contributions in your own words, citing all sources appropriately. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:58, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Economy of Grenada. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Please stop stealing content from nationsencyclopedia.com and trying to add it to Wikipedia. Such actions are illegal and a serious violation of Wikipedia policy that can result in your being blocked from editing. Collectonian (talk) 01:01, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
