Review by User: Jisbell2

[edit]

-First off, you have some pretty good sources. You could have a few more, but you have ones that aren't just online which is good.

-The main thing I see with the article is that I see with the article is that it all is grouped together. You don't have separate sections for anything, but that may change as you add more to the article.

-You need a lead for the page. You go straight into who this man is, but you need a lead.

-Give some information of who he was before he moved to Florence. Where he lived, what he did before, just any information you have on him.

-Talk a little more about his crimes if you possibly can.

Well, this certainly is an interesting character. I haven't looked at the sourcing yet; I hope there is enough material to beef up the article because, as User: Jisbell2 said, it needs much more detail and content. It also needs wikilinks, and copyediting ("Launderdale County" is not "of" Florence, etc.). Dr Aaij (talk) 01:48, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I looked at that one source, that buildingpride PDF. That thing wasn't published, as far as I can tell, so how reliable it is I can't tell. Moreover, almost all of its references are primary sources; the one book it cites (in note 1) is qualified as in places unreliable (in note 2). And I found very little on the internet. In other words, this is problematic in terms of notability and if I were you I'd look for another subject, as quickly as possible. Dr Aaij (talk) 01:52, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
