[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Dance in India. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 05:51, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
Requested Clarification
[edit]Dear. Dr. K,
Thanks for pointing to Wikipedia Policy. I don't think these are spam links by any means. Instead, these quizzes will help a user understand the material better. As you suggested, I have requested a clarification on the talk page of the "Dance in India" page. Hoping to hear back from the broader community.

- Hey Kiran - if you want to leave Dr. K a message, you should do so on their talk page. Anyway, I have replied to your message at the Dance in India talk page. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:18, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi SuperHamster, Thanks for the clarification. Being a first time contributor, it is a bit confusing as to what is appropriate and what is not, and whom and where to communicate on issues. But I am quite amazed at the speed with which people respond here. Do keep up the good work on Wikipedia. Regards,Kiran cb (talk) 07:53, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- No problem! Note that responses on article talk pages can often be slow if no one is watching - if you ever need general Wikipedia help in the future, I definitely recommend checking out the Teahouse, or our help desk. Both are places where editors are waiting to provide any help. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:55, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
