Free Culture Assignment

[edit]
Hi there, Laura! I just wanted to let you know that our group is communicating on the book's Talk page. Michael provided a suggested outline that we might follow for this assignment. Thus far, Meiling has contributed the link to our previous class' blogs; i then agreed to take on the next task of summarizing these. Check out the book's talk page for more... janice (talk) 23:57, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Keep up the good work :) Banaticus (talk) 06:45, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Laura!

Seems that we are both working on this. I am working on the chapters of the Piracy theme as we agreed. Can we move forward as such, since this is what we had discussed? I just had the first chapter reverted because of our simultaneous work. Please acknowledge? I plan to continue with chapters 2 thru 5.ThanksChisholmredproject (talk) 03:04, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Janice! Sorry if I threw your work off - I certainly didn't mean to, and I hope my edit wasn't something that ruined your flow. :( I just wanted to finish up the sections I read, so I just added one paragraph to the piracy section you added. If you'd like to edit it or replace it that's totally cool. The only other thing I did tonight was change some of the McEddy block quotes into more formal "summaries" for the first three chapters - the preface, introduction and creators. Did I interrupt the piracy theme? KingfisherBlue11 (talk) 05:34, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there, Laura-

Absolutely no harm done! Your edits are right on in my book. I just wanted to check in and make sure that we agreed regarding how we are going forward so that we would not duplicate efforts. Anyway, I think that this article is looking really fabulous! I am now hoping that it does get peer review. I am about to call it a night; I will tackle Chap 3+5 before class, tomorrow (unless I go back now and od 3). Chisholmredproject (talk) 06:25, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
