Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Women's championships in WWE, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Judy Martin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You recently went through several championship articles and unbolded the championship name in the first sentence. This has been undone per MOS:BOLDTITLE as the title of the article is to be bolded on its first occurrence in the first sentence of the article. --JDC808 07:56, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Titles

[edit]

I think isn't necessary fi you have several pictures of them without titles. It's confusing, why should put a picture of the champion with a belt that isn't the title? Also, we don't write the "pictured with the XX title". --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 16:16, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for good suggestion

Abhishek Gandha (talk) 16:18, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please, don't change the titles. If there is two reigns, we include the longest and shortest. Jericho Held the title for 172 days and Moxley just won it, so Jericho's reign is the longest. If Moxley holds the title more days, then we will change the box (jericho as the Shortest and Moxley as the longest). there is no reason to wait since there is two reigns. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:05, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@HHH Pedrigree: Actually, no, that's not right. Yes, there has been two reigns and it is completely okay to include Jericho as the longest reigning champion, because it's true, but we should not include the shortest reign until Jon Moxley loses the title. It makes no sense to say he's the shortest reigning champion when he just won the title. That makes him shortest by default. (By that logic, every time someone wins a title, then we would be putting them as shortest reigning. Again, makes no sense to do that.) I also disagree with your assertion to not include a picture of them with a different title. While we would want to include a picture of them with the title in question, sometimes that's not possible, and there's really no issue with including a picture of them with a different title as long as the caption specifies what title is in the picture. --JDC808 22:56, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Even if it's by default, there is two reigns, enough for a longest and shortest. As I explained about the title picture, as a personal taste, I think if there is other pictures aviable, we should use them. It's weird, for me, include a picture of Jon Moxley as AEW champion holding the WWE United States Champion. If the champion isn't holding the right belt, what's the reason for using that particular picture? We explain it's not the title, but with other picture, we can just save that explanation. (BTW, the pictures are like 7 years old, they doesn't look like now and, again, we have several pictures of them in 2018-2020) --HHH Pedrigree (talk). Also, the article looked bad becuase two previous pictures were to big, so there was a very big blanck space in the title reigns section. 23:10, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I notice you have unlinked various names because they are red links. Please read WP:RED where it outlines when it is okay for red links in articles. In short, if the subject is notable they should be red linked, if you don't know if the subect is notable I suggest you do not just remove them but either leave them be or at least consult someone who would know if they are notable or not. Citation misunderstanding

[edit]

Hey there, I noticed you created AIW Tag Team Championship recently and added in a bunch of CageMatch sources. But I noticed that you are not using the "cite web" parameters correctly. The "title=" should show the name of the page, the title of the page you are linking to. Unfortunately these links do not do that, nor is it a direct quote from the pages and thus should not be in the citation. MPJ-DK (talk) 21:50, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hell in a Cell (2020); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Hello, King RB,
You are an experienced editor so I'm not sure how to explain this article you have recently created. And please do not vandalize other editors' User pages or you will be blocked. Liz Read! Talk! 19:06, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Recent edits regarding the WWE Women's Championship

[edit]

What you did to "update" the articles to reflect the current title was completely wrong. You also failed to leave edit summaries to explain what you were doing. What you did screwed up the edit history of the articles. Merging the championship history to WWE Women's Championship (1956–2010) wasn't that bad, but List of WWE Women's Champions should have been moved to List of WWE Women's Champions (1956–2010) and then List of WWE Raw Women's Champions should have been moved to List of WWE Women's Champions. Doing this would have kept the edit histories intact. JDC808 07:53, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you had tried moving the page yourself, then I understand where you had issues, as I was unable to move the page myself despite having page mover rights because the page is move protected. I've made a request to have an administrator move the pages properly. For future reference, if the option to move the page is not available, then it is likely protected and needs a request to an administrator. JDC808 08:29, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:2881:6428:D5D5:F5FE. I noticed that you recently removed all content from a page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:2881:6428:D5D5:F5FE (talk) 04:04, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team
