Question
[edit]Hello King Pickle, I noticed that you do a lot of vandalism-reverting. Would you like me to grant your account rollback rights to help you revert vandalism more easily? Acalamari 19:46, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds interesting, and I guess I would like to try it out. Although, I'm still trying to figure out "normal" editing; I'll try to leave a reply on your page. I'm sure I will use it sparingly until I'm sure I won't break something! King Pickle (talk) 01:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Rollback granted. :) For practice with the tool, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 01:44, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you from Horologium
[edit]Rfb participation thanks
[edit]Hello, Gherkinus Pickulus Rex.
I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 18:22, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
ThankSpam
[edit]Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record. ~~~~~ |

Final discussion for Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people
[edit]Hello, I note that you have commented on the first phase of Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people
As this RFC closes, there are two proposals being considered:
- Proposal to Close This RfC
- Alternate proposal to close this RFC: we don't need a whole new layer of bureaucracy
Your opinion on this is welcome. Okip 02:20, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
