Ah, didn't know that. Sorry. =X P.S. I'd be the guy with the IP of "63.199.105.122", forgot to login. Sorry on that regard too.

No worries. Admittedly the editors' comments are hard to spot sometimes, and it's hard to read an entire article before rolling up the sleeves and fixing stuff ;) Magus Melchior 06:24, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Setsuna F. Seiei

[edit]

How exactly does the information I added to Setsuna`s article "strays off topic"? The only thing I did was correct a very poorly written article. "Setsuna spends most of his time with Lockon" - this is stupid. He doesn`t and you know why? Because Lockon (at least Neil) is dead! The tenses are wrong, the writing style is poor and the article is confusing (e.g.,Tieria finding common grounding with Setsuna in their mutual dislike for Team Trinity coming before explaining how and why Setsuna dislikes them. Unless you can provide a good explaination for your reverts, I`m going to change the article again and if you have an qualms with that I suggest you contact the moderators or take whatever actions you see fit. I shall do the same in case you revert my changes. I`ll assume the airing of the first episode of the second season as the time limit for your reply. -- Ishikawa Minoru (talk) 11:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What you wrote down was more about actions taken by Setsuna in the course of the anime. The header was typed out as "Personality", thus, the section should concern more on Setsuna's habits, relationship with other people, and so forth. Actions, which still can be used to describe his personality, should not become the main focus as that is not the main subject. "Saving X person at the last moment" is an action and does not describe at all someone's personality as it only describes the literal action and does not delve into describing the thinking Setsuna does behind the scenes. King Arthur6687 (talk) 22:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The effects of having been saved by those Gundams are obvious. Setsuna is obsessed with the Gundams because he considers the O Gundam, in a sense, some sort of Messiah. Nena, though, different from his idealized imagine of what a Gundam Meister should act like.
Other than that, you cannot say that Tieria got along better with Setsuna before both dislike the Thrones before even addressing Setsuna`s views on the pilots. It doesn`t make sense. As such, I cannot allow this article to remain as it is.
Moreover, Tieria, at some point (after Veda is hacked) also thinks he`s not worthy of being a Meister so, saying "...all Gundam Meisters but himself" isn`t even correct. -- Ishikawa Minoru (talk) 00:58, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"The effects of having been saved by those Gundams are obvious. Setsuna is obsessed with the Gundams because he considers the O Gundam, in a sense, some sort of Messiah."
That assumption itself is flawed. Setsuna views all Gundams, not just the O Gundam, as a savior. As you put it, a messiah. Furthermore, this is made clear in the first paragraph in a more (appropriately) general term. To state it again later on, in addition to naming Gundams, is redundant and not accurate.
"Other than that, you cannot say that Tieria got along better with Setsuna before both dislike the Thrones before even addressing Setsuna`s views on the pilots. It doesn`t make sense. As such, I cannot allow this article to remain as it is."
It was not stated like you said before you editted the article. The section did not comment on Tieria having improved his relationship with fellow meisters BEFORE the mutual disapproval of the Thrones.
Moreover, Tieria, at some point (after Veda is hacked) also thinks he`s not worthy of being a Meister so, saying "...all Gundam Meisters but himself" isn`t even correct.
An overly descriptive clarification of this does not belong under Setsuna's "Personality" profile. This is more a description of Tieria's personality, not Setsuna's. Plus, Tieria quickly recovered from this soonafter if I recall correctly. I am deviating from our discussion, though.
Overall, your edits are redundant, strays from the point of the section, and does little to clarify Setsuna's personality. I am reverting your edit, again. Please bring a third-party, preferably knowledgable on Gundam 00, if you feel this should be contested more. King Arthur6687 (talk) 01:35, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

00 Mobile Suit Merger Proposal

[edit]

From what I can tell, you seem to be involved with the pages for the individual as well as list pages for the 00 mobile suits. I was planing a merger for the 4 mentioned articles and was wondering, if you had anything to say about it. Tempest115 (talk) 18:16, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
