If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Iyad Rimawi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://soundcloud.com/iyadrimawiofficial. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Iyad Rimawi moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Iyad Rimawi, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Boleyn:

Hi Boleyn,

You moved Iyad Rimawi's page to draft and pointed a bunch of issues that are not clear to me. I don't get it!

Quoted from your input on Iyad's page: This article includes a list of references, but its sources remain unclear because it has insufficient inline citations. (January 2020) Appreciate reviewing the page, yet struggling to understand why all the complications happening on the page. What do you mean that the source remain unclear? This is an artist page and I am the one who created it. I'm working with Iyad, I thought I picked the option in Wikipedia when I set up the page where it says says, the topic is closed to me! I carried Iyad's life in text accurately and the artist is informed with the content. Please get in touch if you need a proof of that. Also, there are multiple references in hand but all in Arabic language, can I add citation in another language to an English page?

  • Have a look at WP:INLINECITE to see examples of how references are meant to be cited, especially for biographies of living people. Most other pages have this, a random example so you can see how they are formatted is Victoria Ekanoye. This means we can clearly see (and verify) where each piece of information came from. Non-English sources are welcome in articles. Boleyn (talk) 11:42, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This biographical article is written like a résumé. Where do you see that? Can you be more specific so I can change the text upon feedback - your note is too general I need a bit more direction please.

The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. (January 2020) Why? your note is too general I need a bit more direction please. I read the guidelines so please avoid directing me to another page as much as answer from a human to human. What should I do to fix the issue?

This article contains content that is written like an advertisement. (January 2020) Where is that? I'm happy to remove it if you think any ads included, that was not the intention when first created.

Let me know please, Kinda (KindaHamwi1 (talk) 10:08, 19 January 2020 (UTC))[reply]
