Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Cavalierman". The reason given for Cavalierman's block is: " Wikipedia Checkuser.svg CheckUser evidence has determined that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely to prevent abuse. Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed. @Robert McClenon: Robert McLenon I would like to formally request a Standard Offer. I will do whatever is required in the meantime - I will not edit, attempt to evade any block, make a new account, engage in sockpuppetry or engage in any other inappropriate behavior. Please let me know what I need to do to request a Standard Offer. Thank you very much. Kimmsjj (talk) 19:39, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
- You say, in requesting a Standard Offer, that you will not attempt to evade any block, make a new account, engage in sockpuppetry, or engage in any other inappropriate behavior. However, I see that Courcelles has blocked you for block evasion and sockpuppetry by creating a new account. I have no reason to assist you in requesting a Standard Offer or any other sort of unblock for what appears to be ongoing block evasion. My own suggestion is that your talk page be blocked, either indefinitely or for six months, but that is only my recommendation. In any case, by requesting a Standard Offer under these circumstances, you are insulting the blocking Checkuser, the administrative community, and the community in general. That is my opinion. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:52, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon: Robert McClenon Robert, this is just the problem!! I keep digging my hole deeper without knowing why! I am not trying to insult anyone - did you read what I wrote? I just want a chance to edit wikipedia again. I am willing to stay away as long as necessary. You don't have to block me for 6 months - I will stay away willingly. I am asking in good faith if there is anything I can do to once again contribute to this project.
- @Robert McClenon: Robert McClenon You are overestimating my skill at block evasion, etc. My rule transgressions have been for the most part completely unintentional. But here's the thing - I accept whatever punishment you deem fit. All I have asked - from the VERY beginning - is if there is anything I can do to once again edit. In asking this question, I have completely unintentionally broken more rules. You are seeing nefarious behavior where there is instead bumbling ignorance. That is why I am so frustrated. Asking for a second chance
[edit]@Courcelles: Courcelles So I have made some serious mistakes in the past. I realize that for every action, there are consequences. What I am hoping, is that the consequence of my behavior is not a lifetime ban from wikipedia. I don't expect any favors, nor am I asking for any rules to be bent. But I would like to know that there is a possibility I can some day in the future be a productive contributor to wikipedia.
As such, I would like to formally request a Standard Offer.
@Courcelles: Courcelles Please disregard/ignore the above request. Apparently I have insulted the community at large, and more specifically insulted you. This was never my intention. I am sorry once again for screwing up. It's unbelievable that by making a polite request, I have dug my grave even deeper. Kimmsjj (talk) 02:11, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
To Yamla
[edit]@Yamla:Yamla I can only imagine the difficulties of administrating something as complex and large as wikipedia. When you add the problem of trolls and vandals, I am quite sure it multiplies the level of frustration. With that said, I ask that you please try to understand something: I am human just like you, with problems and challenges just like you. I made a grave error of allowing personal problems to spill over onto wikipeda, and these problems manifested themselves in the form of poor behavior, up to and including personal attacks. I have no excuse. Now I am faced with something I had never counted on - a potential lifetime ban from the project. This troubles me greatly as I would like to contribute productively to the project at some point in the future.
So my question to you is this: is there a place on wikipedia for me? Will there ever be? Or have my transgressions been egregious enough to warrant an excommunication from the project entirely?
If there is a chance that I might one day be allowed to contribute once again, how would I go about doing so? What are my first steps? Please understand I have already appealed my block using the systems in place, and my appeal was summarily denied with prejudice. I will do whatever you ask of me. If that means not hearing from me for 6 months, that's fine. But I would like to think that in 6 months I can approach you again, and that you would give my appeal an honest evaluation.
Bottom line, there are people who come to wikipedia with the sole intent of harassment. That's not me. I did harass, but I won't do it again if given the opportunity to contribute once again. Finally, the person who I insulted has forgiven me and has no problem with me contributing once again, provided I do so in good faith. For this, I am very grateful, as I really don't deserve his forgiveness. He was gracious enough to extend it though, and also was enthusiastic at my chances of assisting the project, provided I stay out of trouble. I think this itself speaks volumes - if the person I aggreived can find it to forgive me, I hope the administrators can find it in their hearts as well.

LAST update
[edit]@NorthBySouthBaranof:NorthBySouthBaranof I wanted to make you aware that I am applying for a Standard Offer. As I explained above, I harbor no illusions that my behavior should go unpunished. I did inform the administrators that I had extended a sincere apology to you, and that my apology was accepted (this was my understanding at least). I don't deserve forgiveness in this situation, but you have been gracious enough to not hold a grudge as it were. I am very grateful for this, it means a lot to me. As I also explained above I am a human being who makes mistakes just like everyone else. While my behavior was inexcusable, I thank you for realizing that an instance of bad behavior does not define my character as a whole
Should the administrators consider my Standard Offer, I make the assumption that you are supportive of my eventual return to wikipedia, provided I contribute productively. I am in no position to ask anything of you, I am simply humbly stating my intentions to once again contribute to the project. If you have an objection to my return I will respect your wishes and not apply for a Standard Offer for another 6 months at a minimum. Thank you Kimmsjj (talk) 01:01, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Standard offer
[edit]So has my application for a standard offer been accepted? Where do I go from here? Kimmsjj (talk) 02:56, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- YOU GO AWAY. FOR AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM OF SIX MONTHS. STOP PINGING PEOPLE. So far, you've been going out of your way to prove we should never unblock you. --Yamla (talk) 11:33, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Ok I will stay away and come back in 6 months. I'm genuinely sorry. Thank you for responding. Kimmsjj (talk) 18:01, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
