Your submission at Articles for creation: Wash My Soul In The River's Flow (January 26)
[edit]- Hi Johannes, I have taken the external links from the body and added a few internal wikipedia links for Wash My Soul In the Rivers Flow. I haven't changed any of the words. Thanks for your editing help. Kim alice film (talk) 02:44, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Johannes, I hope I made the new edits to the right page as when I look at it now it looks the same as my original submission despite me taking out all the external links and hitting publish again. I hope I was making the changes on the right submission page. Thanks Kim alice film (talk) 02:48, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks Johannes. This was my first entry. Thanks for your feedback. I thought I would probably have to make some adjustments as it is all so new and was a lot to take in on my first attempt. I'll definitely try to edit it now and resubmit though. I think I know what you mean by external links. I'll have a look at some other film pages to check what you mean. thanks again, kim alice film Kim alice film (talk) 01:08, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
Declined decision
[edit]Declined decisions need to stay in the draft history even if you have addressed the comment(s) left by the reviewer. David notMD (talk) 06:45, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for this comment @David notMD. Sorry because this is my first wiki entry I am trying to get my head around how to do it all. Does this mean I just leave the draft that is rejected and create a new submission with the advised edits from reviewers? Or should I not have hit publish and just done the edits on the rejected draft? The problem was I didnt understand which button to hit to save the amendments. I've read the documents about setting up pages and have watched you tube tutorials but any extra explanation of your comment in laymens terms would be really helpful so I can contribute well to wiki. - Correct path is to continue to edit the draft (Declined, not Rejected; the latter would have meant that the reviewer saw no potential to succeed). "Publish" means save. When satisfied that the draft has been improved, submit again. Which you did. Normal to get a different reviewer, who may have different objections to the draft than the first one. Carry on. - very helpful advice thanks @David notMD Kim alice film (talk) 10:48, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- I did a bit of clean-up. I hope it is accepted. David notMD (talk) 11:37, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
