(NB: I think I am going to propose that we change the name of this page to something like 'Links between Christianity and Paganism' or similar. Then we can roll this page together with some material on Christo-paganism which is a different, but linked phenomenon. This currently has no page, but appears as a category which I will suggest is deleted. It might then also be possible to add in some well-referenced material about (eg) pagan origins of festivals, Eostre/Easter, exampes of syncretism such as the Rudston Monolith and do on.)
