Welcome!

[edit]
Hello, SacredwikiHeart! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already excited about Wikipedia, you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing! WikiProject Catholicism Invitation

[edit]
Thank you for your recent contributions to one of Wikipedia's Catholic-related articles. Given the interest you've expressed by your edits, have you considered joining WikiProject Catholicism? We are a group of editors dedicated to improving the overall quality of Wikipedia's Catholicism-related content. If you would like to join, simply add your name to the list of members. We also have a to-do list and other things to do that might interest you as well.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask at the project talk page. We look forward to working with you in the future! Peaceray (talk) 19:07, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest editing

[edit]

Hi! We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but as your name suggests (and as you have declared recently on your userpage), you have a conflict of interest relating to the Sacred Heart University; your edits relating to the topic have been reverted.

I will assume good faith, largely because you would have gotten away with these edits had you not declared your COI now. I presume you were unaware of the COI policy when you made these edits. Nonetheless, please be aware that further undisclosed COI editing may result in an investigation per WP:COICOIN. Actualcpscm (talk) 18:49, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because your username, SacredwikiHeart, does not comply with Wikipedia's username policy. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized below.
Under Wikipedia's username policy, a username should represent an individual person. It should not: represent a group or organization; be promotional; be misleading (such as indicating possession of special user rights, being a "bot" account - unless approved, or implying that the account has any administrative or "moderator" user rights, or any kind of "power" or "authority" over other users); nor be offensive or otherwise disruptive. However, a username that contains the name of an organization and also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87" is allowed, but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company". Among others, the guidance on conflict of interest and the policy on paid-contribution disclosure are relevant.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If your username is not in violation of Wikipedia's username policy, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you.
A Wikipedia account is for one person and one person only. If two people want to edit, then each must open an individual account. Both accounts must comply with the guideline on editing with a conflict of interest. Cullen328 (talk) 18:54, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

Previous username did not meet username requirements SacredwikiHeart (talk) 18:18, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account and will remove the block. As advised, your colleague will need to create their own account for their own use and make the required disclosures themselves. Both of you will need to contribute about your university as the COI policy advises(largely through edit requests(click for instructions) in most cases). 331dot (talk) 08:42, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CCJU

[edit]

KimSatSHU, are you still interested in updating the SHU article? I just added a new section on the CCJU that I'd like to expand (and possibly even spin off into a new article). Published information on the CCJU seems sketchy, except for one really good book chapter and an old NY Times article, but there may be more out there, especially print material, that I haven't been able to find. If you're interested, we could work together on this, especially if you can locate published material at SHU about CCJU that might be hard to find elsewhere. Let me know below if you're interested. (See {{Reply}} and WP:THREAD for how to reply.) Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 01:23, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
