Peyton Sawyer article

[edit]
  • Hello, KidzProductions. The reason that your edits to the Peyton Sawyer article have been removed, where you add mentions of a character named Jason, is because those instances have not happened on the show One Tree Hill yet, if ever. As of now, they are spoilers. Refrain from adding spoilers to the Peyton Sawyer article or any article on Wikipedia until they are no longer spoilers. Either that, or unless you're adding spoilers to an article about a future event. Flyer22 00:05, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Hq02.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 09:02, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Maxana_05.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Maxana_05.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? MER-C 12:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because The Username is a possible representation to a company. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. This account, KidzProductions, has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because your username does not meet our username policy. This block is only regarding your username—it is not a judgment of either you personally or your contributions.

Names should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, misleading, or related to a "real-world" group or organization. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

Please choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. However, do not create a new account if you wish to credit your existing contributions to a new name through a username change. To request a username change:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to edit this talk page even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a list of names that have already been taken. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Cirt (talk) 17:52, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've also noticed that a number of Wikipedians, whose username is possible of being promotional, or vandalism, is still unblocked. Check some of those guys (which are still allowed to edit) and warn them with the template I used.--Berlin Approach | Lufthansa 533 at FLT230 06:32, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
