Jia M. Cobb
Hello,
I see you undid my additional biography for Jia M. Cobb. Can you explain why? I referenced each item & it is relevant to her background as to why she is a judicial nominee.

- Dequanhargrove Including a poorly-formatted list in the middle of a Wikipedia article was not appropriate. KidAd • SPEAK 02:46, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
Can you explain what was poorly formatted & not appropriate? I listed cases she argued related to civil rights & referenced each one. I have seen the same thing done on other pages for judicial nominees so I do not understand what is the issue this time. Dequanhargrove (talk) 16:44, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
Would you please explain the issue with updating her page with notable cases? I looked at other pages such as "Deepak Gupta (attorney)" & used the exact format that was on that page. Please advise so I can update the page correctly if it is not being done correctly. Thanks Dequanhargrove (talk) 04:06, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
- Dequanhargrove. The place to discuss this is the article's talk page, not mine. KidAd • SPEAK 04:10, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
Ok, I just wrote on the page. Thanks Dequanhargrove (talk) 04:16, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
Victoria Woodards birthplace
Back in 2019 you updated Tacoma mayor Victoria Woodards's page with the information that she was born in Tacoma. This doesn't seem to be correct (it's not in her official bio) but it's become part of a hot dispute in Tacoma local politics. Do you have a source for her birthplace?

Category sorting
Hello KidAd! You are doing a tremendous job creating articles of state politicians - thank you. I have one suggestion: could you please remember to put a sortkey at the start of your list of categories? Simply {{DEFAULTSORT:Lastname, Firstname}}, using the person's name as spelled in the article title. Thanks! --Ken Gallager (talk) 17:26, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, Ken Gallager! I will be sure to add the sortkey when creating pages going forward. KidAd • SPEAK 18:52, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi KidAd! You didn't add the proper DEFAULTSORT on your July 11-12 articles, such as Ashley Tackett Laferty, Josh Branscum, Killian Timoney, and Rob Yang. Could you add it in the future, as well as
{{reflist}}
and Category:Living people? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:50, 13 July 2021 (UTC)- Hello again! Remember when putting in DEFAULTSORT that the sorting should be Lastname, Firstname (see top of this section). Your recent new articles are using "Sortkey", which means that the articles are being sorted at the name "Sortkey" rather than by the actual last name of the person. Thanks, --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:30, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- Also, please remember to go back and change the articles you have created. --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:31, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ken Gallager, OK, just to make sure I understand you correctly, I have to manually enter the first and last name when using DEFAULTSORT? KidAd • SPEAK 17:10, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- That's right. "DEFAULTSORT" simply specifies how the article is alphabetized in every category that follows, unless someone overrides the sorting in an individual category. --Ken Gallager (talk) 17:30, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
