Born on 15th January 1944 in Gujrat .
He was a Great Naat khawan of Pakistan {Pride of Performance Award} 1983 by President General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq . He started reciting naat at the age of 3 in 1947 at a mehfil .
He Recited naat at Radio Pakistan in 1950 at the age 6 and got a prize by Radio Pakistan. He had the honor to recite many popular poets like Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, Mulana Abdur Rehman Jami a very famous Persian Poet .
