Article selection

[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you assigned yourself the Che Guevara article to improve as part of your assignment. I wanted to let you know that this article is a Good Article, which means that it is among Wikipedia's best work. While there might be room to make a few small improvements to Good Articles, they are going to be more complete, overall, and harder to work on as your first major contribution to Wikipedia. For that reason, I recommend that you pick a different articles to work on - one that have scope for improvement. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:07, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent revert of your additions

[edit]

Hello. I wanted to give you a heads up on my revert of your recent large edit to Che Guevara. I hate to take such an action as the information was very interesting, nicely written, and well sourced. In fact, I think it would make a worthy contribution to an article on Cinema of Cuba, or Machismo in Cuba etc. However, it sadly is way too much detail for an article on Che Guevara himself, see WP:ROC and WP:OOS. But I wanted to let you know here, as I appreciate your effort in adding that much text, and didn't want you to feel like it was just erased without considering the time you may have worked on it.  Redthoreau -- (talk) 04:04, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
