Thanks for your kind comment. :-) --Kzaral 03:30, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm a French Wikipédia user, and sometimes I'm doing translations between English and French Wikipédia versions.

I appreciate your help and kindness.

Hello, and thank you for the warm and instructional welcome. I came here to initially look over the pages here in Wikipedia concerning my Alma Mater, Huntington Beach High School. There was very little information regarding the 1970's remodel, so, I being one to whom attended during that time of reconstruction, I placed a bit of information in the talk pages. I hope that I did this properly, and maybe you could go and view the text written, as well as it's placement, to check if my addition is acceptable?

This is an incredible database of melded knowledge, from all walks of life, and experience. I will have to really examine one's given possibilities here in the near future. Thank You again, be well, and PEACE!--Davidadro 03:50, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome. I've just come across wikipedia for the first time so I'm going to try to familiarise myself with the site for a while. It's all a wee bit confusing for me but I like the principle.--Manatthewindow 04:16, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

editing

Hi, I am trying to add another source for people to read entire e-text classic books and someone keeps editing my link and removing it, claiming that I am link spamming. My website is not a commercial site. One of the instances was under the search term "Alice in Wonderland". My link was removed from there.

Please explain this to me.

Thank you! muggy21 6-13-06

Ah, thank you very much. You got me a little nervous though 'cause I thought I did something wrong.

hey, good to hear from you

Hey there Kf4bdy - great to hear from you & thanks for your welcome.

I've loved Wiki for ages & just got round to editing for the first time.

And first time I start a new entry, I've messed it up!

Can you advise me how to change the title name of the page? I've put it as Archie McLaren - it should be Archie MacLaren. Can't quite work out how to do it.

Thank you for greeting me

Hello, and thank you for the welcome! I appreciate the tips.

Thanks again! B|Cube|contribs 04:18, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oops

My bad. Hadn't realized that IM etiquette applied here as well... although I had changed some of the caps by the time the page was edited and was trying to figure out how to correct the title when the page was moved to the new location.

Can you tell me how to edit the title? I am happy to correct the "A.F & A.M." issue... it is simply an abbreviation for Accepted Free & Ancient Masons.

Anyway, I'll be more careful in the future.

Thanks again!!!

Thanks!

Thanks! I look forward to contributing when and where I can, and am committed to following the rules.Kebnabi 16:16, 12 August 2006 (UTC) Kebnabi[reply]

Thank you

Thanks for your lovely and friendly message. I'll follow your advice but be aware of the fact that, in spite of my recent participation in this wikipedia, I've already written more than 22 articles for the Spanish version. Let's keep in touch for any other details you consider worthy of attention. Kind regards,--Gustavo86 16:24, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

August Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: To-Do List
The Esperanza To-Do List is a place where you may list any request, big or small, for assistance. If you need help with archiving your usertalk, for example, all you need to do is list it here and somebody will help you out. Likewise, if you need help with some area of editing on Wikipedia, list it here! Again, any matter, trivial or not, can be placed on this page. However, all matters listed on this page must not be of an argumentative nature. You do not need to be a member of Esperanza (or this program) to place or fulfill requests on this page. If you don't have any requests, consider coming by and fulfilling a few! This program has not been very active, but has lots of potential!
What's New?
In order to help proposed programs become specific enough to make into full-fledged programs, the In development section of the proposals page has been created. Proposals that are promising, but need to be organized in more detail are listed here. Please take a look at what is there, and help the proposals turn into programs.
To improve both the layout and text of the front page, in an attempt to clarify the image of Esperanza, the front page is going to have some redesigning take place. Please take your creative minds to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign to brainstorm good ideas.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  1. In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
  2. The In development section of the proposals page has been created.
  3. Proposals page: Some proposals have been moved to the aforementioned "In development" section, some have been left as a proposal, and others have been archived. For those proposals that were a good idea but didn't necessarily constitute a program, General Esperanzial Actions has been created.
  4. Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillors who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
  5. Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
  6. There is a page for discussing the front page redesign.
Signed...
Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

Hi

Hi, Im new to this. i have tried to get a page up recently but it has gotten deleted twice now because someone considered it an ad. I am simply trying to create a profile for my company Flimap, that wouldnt be considered an ad and wont get deleted. My boss says i have to get it done but the deleting is out of my control.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fliadmin (talkcontribs) 10:39, 13 September 2006.

Hello

Hello, many thanks for your welcoming message. I have been around for a while already, contributing bits of verifiable information to one or two articles. It's just that I haven't logged in for quite a while. You may have noticed that I left a comment on a discussion page that I deleted soon afterwards. I did this because I realized I had made a mistake. I had mistaken one He-Man character for another and wanted to notify the author of the article that he/she may not be entirely correct -- when I was the one in the wrong. I therefore deleted my comment. All the best, Babel2675 14:46, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Hi, Could you quickly take a look at the page i created "Flimap" the format for creating in Wiki is still confusing to me. It dosent seem to read as an ad to me at least, and i couldnt find anything that i did wrong according to the users perfect guide you sent me. Thank you for helping ``Fliadmin``

thanks

i hope this isnt a bot and if it is the case that this is another friendly internet user, thanks. in the meantime i'll be editing 'breed (video game)'

Thank you for the advice and pointers.

I now see I've trangressed the policies by relying on not easily verifiable data or published accounts; most of what I added yesterday was based on personal experience and/or investigation and is not easily verifiable according to the standards referenced in the links you provided me. Mea culpa.

I'll revert as appropriate.
