A tag has been placed on File:David Pearce, Philosopher, 2014.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. February 2017

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ministro Pistarini International Airport, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 12:50, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Marlene Schmidt.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Marlene Schmidt.jpg, which you've attributed to Peter Renzo. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:19, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
We communicated a bit over 9 years ago. I guessed India. You helped in editing. I'm on LinkedIn, looking for you. Slyfox4908 (talk) 04:51, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the Barnstar. What article is this for? Keystroke (talk) 12:49, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
not specifically for any article. I just wanted to get back to you. You were involved with TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation ), as I recall. You had a friend interested in Binti Jua. My initials JB. You helped on that article. Slyfox4908 (talk) 00:12, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Call it "For India". You know. ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slyfox4908 (talkcontribs) 21:09, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
same guy JB. Do you have a linkedin identity? I'd like to talk again. It's been 10 years. Riverine721 (talk) 05:08, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hope you have been doing well. I don't really use LinkedIn. Keystroke (talk) 10:47, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm back, different IP. JB. A friend has developed a cancer called "meningioma", and naturally I want to help him. Three tumors, but one is calcified and old. Very bad headaches, he says. His doctors are stumped. Today, I saw an article about TMS being used to treat glioblastoma, which I realize is a far-more-serious brain cancer. This is just something I found a moment ago. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02283944 (No special significance to his case.)

Spring-gun inquiry

[edit]

Hello, Keystroke. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you. For personal reasons, email is the slowest way to get me to notice that you have attempted to contact me. Anyway, back then I was just merging content from another article with a slightly different name (spring gun instead of spring-gun). The person who actually added the content was Alecke1. See this page for the revision history of the other article. Unfortunately, this user has not been active since 2007, so you may not get a reply from any queries on his or her talk page. Unfortunately, while the user suggests contacting them by email, that option does not appear on the side of their user page. If you have any further questions, please use my user talk page to ask the question, or to alert me to your talk page, because I will not notice any replies here. - Kjkolb (talk) 12:26, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
