- Hello.please stop further destroying the article. Since you dont like it, you cant destroy it as you are doing now. It is very clear that you are totally against its significance and vandalizing it keeping personal interests & hatred. And you cannot instruct any user to which page they should edit or not. Being a proper wikipedian all have their own right to edit free and fair. Myself or anyone are not restricting or controlling you to edit any pages. If you would like to contribute to Telugu cinema articles, do it & for that matter you can't destroy others becoz of your personal dislikes and hatred. This is totally unacceptable. First shifting from various IP's register yourself first legally. Your full activity clearly shows to want to edit in destroying the articles which you dont like or interested. Stop it, further more will make you blocked completely to edit wiki. ---- Ungal Vettu Pillai (talk) 23:37, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
please stop your excessive POV
A statement like this is called POV - Tamil cinema produces most popular films in India
Half of Tamil cinema article is filled with statements like this
The reversions are made by BOT and it is asking me to report false positive
I am not a vandal. I am removing excessive POV and promotional material to Nuetral point
I reverted ur edits back to edits made by Active Banana
Thank you (61.2.209.91 (talk) 05:38, 30 May 2011 (UTC)).
I am not shifting from any IP addresses - all my Ips start with 61.2
This is a dial up connection, this happens with a Dial up internet connection when ever u connect after disconnecting it is not in my hands. I am the same person who is messaging u (61.2.73.148 (talk) 05:53, 30 May 2011 (UTC)).

I am asking ur help to add the info I gave about Telugu cinema because -
the article is semi protected( because if the high quality of wording and clear information in that particular article) and only auto confirmed users are allowed to edit
Tamil cinema clearly has two TAGS ABOUT AUDITING AND REFERENCES - it needs auditing - because it has lot of excessive un related information
ADMINSITRATORS CAN easily make out who is a vandal 0 if u just say stop vandalising - administrator is not a fool that he cant make out who is vandalising
my reversion are justified by editors- automatic BOT reversion has only to do with size of the article
may be ur new to wikipedia - please talk to some one who is old to wikipedia
I am asking ur help here in improving both tamil and telugu articles
example: information about film making, song and dance sequences, Business models, film genres are not into
(61.2.73.148 (talk) 06:02, 30 May 2011 (UTC)).
- I intend to improve both the aricles. But for now pls stop messing up Tamil cinema article. --Thalapathi (Ping Back) 12:26, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

And i have removed it again. It is the WP:BURDEN of the person adding or returning content to provide appropriate sourcing within the article in question. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Cinema of India. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. note that 3rr is not an entitlement, if you continue to edit war against multiple editors, you will be blocked —SpacemanSpiff 20:16, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
IR template
It's inappropriate to have such templates, since he has composed thousands of songs for hundreds of films. What makes the listed ones alone "notable". There are hundreds of notable compositions. It's good to avoid such redundant templates. --Commander (Ping Me) 07:39, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Tamil Nadu 2011 Election
Thx for your input on the infobox on this page. I feel like in the infobox, it is appropriate and looks good if there is only one image. The flag was put up because there were no free images of the two candidates. If the images you put up is free and meet the fair use standards, I feel like putting only the picture rather than the flag would be better and more appropriate.--Nader85021 (talk) 03:56, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Re Mani Ratnam
I did not remove any image. I just swapped both. Since the image of him at "Raavan premiere" is more related with the film I moved that to the appropriate section. Moreover you should stop adding Peacock terms. --Commander (Ping Me) 11:54, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Disruptive Editing
Please stop changing the lead in Rajinikanth article according to your POV. You have been explained umpteen times and, if you don't care about it you have no reason to revert back —Commander (Ping me) 05:02, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Ok coming to the point, what's so special about being named by a magazine. WP:Lead should summarize the article and not a list of achievements. There is no need to mention your point in the lead when it's already elaborated in the awards and honors section. Also there is a separate page for list of awards and nominations. We should follow certain guidelines while making edits. See Wikipedia:NOT for more clarifications —Commander (Ping me) 06:07, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- See the question here is not to decide on whether the content is neutral or not. Also We never questioned about its neutrality. The stuff is inappropriate in the lead. You have copied the same content from the "Awards" section and added the same reference (link to same URL) as a new one and messed up the ref formatting. —Commander (Ping me) 06:15, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Please go through WP:Lead. —Commander (Ping me) 07:32, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Three to four editors are not agreeing because your edits are completely against the Manual of style. See, you have told that you are the one who added that stuff in the lead section. FYI, A lead cannot contain any information that is not presented anywhere in the article. Its more appropriate in the awards section rather than the lead. Can you elaborate the significance of being named by a magazine? —Commander (Ping me) 11:44, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Re:Image Position
I explained it in the edit summary. A free image is always preferred in the infobox. The image that you added is non-free. —Commander (Ping me) 06:32, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
- Looks like you haven't got my point. If a free image is available, then it is preferred for the infobox. In case of Padmini, no free image exists. So I added a non-free image in the infobox and one more in the career section to illustrate her movies. But that's not the case with Savithri. If you have a free image with a higher resolution (than the existing one) of her you can very well place it in the infobox. —Commander (Ping me) 09:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Don't frame new guidelines
First of all the video has got nothing to do with superstar. It only features himself alongside "Thavakalai" (Little superstar). It adds more significance to the little superstar (Thavakalai) rather than Rajini. I did not remove that on the basis of non availability of sources. It seems like WP:OR as mentioned by another editor who is very much experienced. —Commander (Ping me) 08:58, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
- In response to your last statement: When advancing a position or justifying an action, base your argument on existing agreements, community foundation issues and the interests of the encyclopedia, not your own common sense. Exhorting another editor to "just use common sense" is likely to be taken as insulting, for good reasons —Commander (Ping me) 09:10, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Harris-Jayaraj.jpg
Hai, its good that you used this image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Harris_Jayaraj.jpg in Harris Jayaraj page. But I think that this article looked quite good with out this image. Its quite a short article and having two images at the top makes it look quite congested. That image you added is of quite a large resolution too and that adds more attention on it when someone views the page. This spoils the attraction that the other two pictures get from viewers. So could you please undo your addition. Just look at the previous previews, the page had a very good look. Please consider my request. Growtreesgrowtrees (talk) 05:45, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chennai. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. — Abhishek Talk 02:44, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know whether you are aware of the Rfc regarding the inclusion of scripts in all India-related articles. You are the one who is misleading the conclusion and not others. I suggest you better go through the Rfc before making any such inconstructive edits. 03:01, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
- I do not meant for any edit wars but could not understand what made the decision from that noticeboard to remove scripts from articles dealing nativity like cities, states., etc.,. To an extend there is point to come to conclusion on some articles whether to add all or none, but all those mainly deals with individuals. A single man is different from a entire living environment(=states or cities). On this ground I made the change. ----Ungal Vettu Pillai (talk) 18:19, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Hi. Thanks for the initiative. To be frank, I am against adding any more images to the article. The culture section had a Bharatnatyam image, but since it was already present in the montage was too large, disrupting format, I removed it. Regarding this one, immediate problems arise. One, image is of really bad quality. Second, this image is not really significant. All the reader can make out is a few crackers and a blurred skyline. Secret of success (talk) 08:15, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is volunteer effort. We can't really expect everything to happen at one time, as Indian articles go upto 100,000 in number. It is believed that the scripts will be removed in a couple of years time, at the most, and if you find any articles having scripts, please try to remove them. Again, its volunteer work. Its best to remove disputed articles first, if you can think of a few. I also find that removing them from non-disputed articles at first was not really fair as they should have been the last to go. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
