[edit]Hello, I'm Elizium23. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Rick Riordan seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 04:42, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Please use edit summaries for all your edits
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! - DVdm (talk) 16:22, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
Some stroopwafels for you!

February 2017
[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Fall Out Boy, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 05:04, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

Singer-songwriter
[edit]The term "singer-songwriter" is very different to listing "singer, songwriter" as separate occupations.
- Singer-songwriters are musicians who write, compose and perform their own musical material including lyrics and melodies. As opposed to contemporary pop music singers who write or co-write their own songs, the term singer-songwriter describes a distinct form of artistry, closely associated with the folk-acoustic tradition.
As explained, this is a person who writes, composes and performs their own musical material. Any singer does all of these, even on whose first two studio albums, with asssitance from other songwriters and producers, which is not in accordance with the term's distinct form where a person almost always composes alone (see the likes of Bob Dylan or Joni Mitchell). —originally JennKR; copied by Destiny Leo (talk) 07:31, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

New WikiProject YouTube Style Guide & Notability essay!
[edit]Hello! KevindeAmsterdam! WikiProject YouTube now has an official style guide for articles in its scope! To check it out, please click here. I brought this to your attention, because this style guide needs a lot of work. To gauge its consensus, we need more editors that help with this guide. Feel free to add, remove, or change anything in the guide to what you think WikiProject YouTube should become. We also have a new notability essay on Wikipedia! It's purpose is to try to reform (and hopefully change) notability guidelines on Wikipedia to better suit YouTubers. This can only happen with enough consensus. If you can, head on over to this page, and make some edits. With enough edits, we can demonstrate consensus. This is also your chance to change the policy. Your input is always welcome. Thank you for being a part of WikiProject YouTube. Simple Wikipedia Expansion
[edit]Hello! KevindeAmsterdam! WikiProject YouTube now has launched the project on the Simple Wikipedia! To check it out, please click here. I brought this to your attention, because this project only has one member as of 05:33, 7 June 2017 (UTC)!. To help it along, we need more editors that help with this new project. Keep in mind that the Simple Wikipedia is really different from the English Wikipedia. For starters:
"*WikiProjects...are unofficial and they are maintained in userspace.
(Quote from User:Auntof6) Please remember that this list is not inclusive, and that you need to follow all the rules of the Simple Wikipedia. Happy Editing! Disambiguation link notification for March 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jeff Kinney (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Quality scale reassessment request for Angry Grandpa
[edit]Hello. As I could not find another option on the WikiProject YouTube page, I am writing you as a member of the project to request a quality reassessment of article Angry Grandpa. The article is currently rated C-class but has been entirely rewritten to improve its quality and is, in my opinion, ready for B-class approval. Thank you. [edit]Important Notice
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Blonde Redhead, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Οἶδα (talk) 18:52, 18 June 2023 (UTC)

Genre edits
[edit]Please, do not add micro genres into artists' info box without providing any source for them. I noticed you did these types of edits on lots of articles. Genres must be sourced, especially when your edits claim that an artist like Lil Uzi Vert makes East Coast hip hop , something very much far from the truth...
