[edit]Hello, I'm Perryprog. I noticed that in this edit to Ku Klux Klan in Oregon, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Perryprog (talk) 21:50, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Criminal stereotype of African Americans, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Perryprog (talk) 22:00, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Criminal stereotype of African Americans, you may be blocked from editing. Perryprog (talk) 22:03, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Criminal stereotype of African Americans. Ezlev (talk) 22:07, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
I am removing subjective opions Kevin Funcle (talk) 22:22, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 22:29, 31 October 2020 (UTC)- Hi Kevin Funcle, when you remove sourced content, and others disagree, you need to discuss it with others on a talk page rather than continuing to edit-war. Best, Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 22:32, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Im removing subjective optiond. I am not removing facts. Kevin Funcle (talk) 22:34, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Sourced or not. Subjective opions should not be allowed. Kevin Funcle (talk) 22:36, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 22:49, 31 October 2020 (UTC)- OK, looks like you weren't just disputing/removing content; you were changing the meaning of the sentences that you left behind. For example, here you edited the lede sentence to read:
African American males in particular, are dangerous criminals.
This grossly inappropriate and offensive edit has no place on Wikipedia and I am therefore upgrading the block to indefinite. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 22:51, 31 October 2020 (UTC)- Thank you L235. Nick, in my opinion reverting such clearly racist edits is exempt from 3R. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 22:04, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Drmies: I'd totally agree with that, which is why I didn't block for 3RR. I totally get they were acting in good faith protecting the project from this racist agenda pushing, as I said myself. I was forcefully trying to make sure that the editors involved didn't get themselves into a position where they may have got themselves blocked, as not all of Funcle's edits were so clearly problematic - disruptive and contentious, certainly, but disruptive and contentious pushing of various viewpoints gets people into edit wars and causes 3RR blocks almost every day. Nick (talk) 08:44, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Nick, I was originally holding off on replying as I wasn't sure if this situation was resolved or not, but if you wish I can post a description of what had happened from my perspective (and why I choose to continually revert), as well as the short conversation I had with L235 on IRC (with their permission). I'm not sure if this is truly necessary though, as per what you said just now. Perryprog (talk) 14:30, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
