Student Contributions to Article
[edit]My name is Kevin Karabin and I am a student West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I am a senior history major enrolled in the Spring 2017 History on the Web course. For an assignment, I am making improvements to this article. I have been working on this assignment throughout the semester and our culminating project involves making our final edits to the actual article. I have made various edits to the article including formatting and grammatical changes. I have also added some additional information I acquired throughout my semester long research. Some of the major and most important edits I made are as follows: I separated "Company Name History" and "Acquired Brands" into two separate sections and deleted "a.k.a." from the beginning of all the acquired brands. I broke down the "History" section into three separate subheadings titled "Early History", "William H. Pflaumer Era", and "Brewery Demolition". In addition, I added information throughout the history section that I thought would be valuable and improve the article. Along with this added information, I added two additional sources to the article. Finally the final major edit I made was to the lead section of the article. I added a paragraph to the lead section dealing with prohibition and how the brewery was able to survive the ban on alcohol production. The rest of the edits I made were minor grammatical, formatting, and sentence structure edits that I throughout would improve the overall aesthetics and readability of the article.
