User talk:Kerwin Thompson
Hi kerwin. Welcome to Wikipedia; we need more puppeteers for sure! I see you have been trying to add an image to Sam and Friends and making other improvements. That's great, but i also see you're struggling with the images. I removed the sample image from the page as I assume you added that in error. Can I suggest you practice on the Sandbox until you get the hang of things. To add an image, see the instructions below:
For uploading pictures and other media, it's easiest to go to Wikimedia Commons (you can use your Wikipedia credentials if you're not logged in already) and visit the Upload Wizard. Wikimedia Commons can only accept files which anyone can use for any purpose. That means most content you find on the web is not acceptable. But for example, most photos that you've taken yourself are OK to upload.
Here's a screenshot of the Upload Wizard:
You start by selecting the files you want to upload, then you go step by step through the process. In the final step, you'll get some wiki markup that you can copy into a Wikipedia article. Let me know if I can help. :-)

- Hi Kerwin. Thanks for the Barnstar on your talk page and the feedback on my user page. I really appreciate both. Actually both those items should go on MY talk page though so I'll move them for you now. You can access my talk page by using the talk link after my name. Remember also to sign your comments using 4 of the "~" symbol in a row. Like this Garemoko (talk) 08:07, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Tom Fulp, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Sam and Friends, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 17:24, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to upload media files with false or lacking copyright and source information, as you did at Jim Henson, you may be blocked from editing. Please make sure you have read and understood our image use policy before making any further uploads. If you have questions, ask at the copyright question page. Kerwin Thompson, what do you need help with? Is there any problem that you are facing?

Adding images
[edit]I appreciate that you're trying to help by adding an image to Sam and Friends, but please:
- Come to grips with Wikipedia's Image use policy. It is no help to add an image that Wikipedia can't use, and which will only be removed again shortly afterward.
- Learn the markup for adding an image to a page. The picture tutorial may help you here.
- Use the "Show preview" button (it's right next to the "Save page" button) to check that your changes are correct before you save them. There is no excuse for taking 9 edits to make a single small change, and it makes it a lot harder for your fellow contributors to follow what you've done.
Thank you. — Paul A (talk) 01:19, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
That is not correct according to your edit history.
Plese see WP:YOUNG.

Disambiguation link notification for January 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Berkeley Breathed, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Opus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
