Citation requests and notability
[edit]I've returned several of the citation requests which were removed during the course of eleven edits performed by Crutchfield9 on 14 September. Addition 22/4/08 - I am currently editing this page to wiki standards - Adrian Lambert
1. "He is the first African-American dermatologist to become board certified in the state of Minnesota." The reference provided in no way supports this claim. Furthermore, as a press release, it cannot be considered "third party".
2. "He started out with Dermatology Consultants in St. Paul in 1998 and in January 2002 opened his solo practice." The source provided makes no mention of Dermatology Consultants, nor are the dates 1998 and 2002 featured.
3. "Elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society." Crutchfield's name is not featured in the link provided.
4. "...Distinguished Benedict Professor of Biology at Carleton College." The source provided lists Crutchfield as simply "Visiting Professor of Biology".
Finally, I agree with Realkyhick's assessment that notability is not proven. I note that not one of the sources provided features Crutchfield as its subject, as called for in the notability guidelines. Furthermore, the reason behind the proposed deleting tag was not addressed - as required - in its removal. Victoriagirl 16:03, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit]This article should be deleted due to Wiki's policy on not promoting ones business This is a tool for his selfish marketing. He added this to his website to make others think Wiki added him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hollabackgurl29 (talk • contribs) 17:32, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

- This article should be deleted due to Wiki's policy on not promoting ones business This is a tool for his selfish marketing. He added this to his website to make others think Wiki added him. Also, there is no proof of navy pilot training, this is another fairytale along with numerous others he claims. Magazine articles are self solicited, and he pays a fee to the magazine for covering him. Why would Wiki keep such a article on its site? Do you verify any of these claims?
