File:Trisha_Ashley.jpg

[edit]

Hi, I noticed File:Trisha_Ashley.jpg and I saw that it was uploaded as your "own work." I just wanted to double check that this is correct, that you are the person who took this photo? I ask because it looks like a professional headshot, and it is used elsewhere on the internet such as on the subject's Twitter page. Mokadoshi (talk) 03:38, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes, I took the picture and just got very lucky with the shot, so it ended up being useful for profile pictures etc. There is a set of official author portraits around, but I stuck with the image I definitely had the rights to. Kerravondarrow (talk) 08:38, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks for letting me know. And let me be the first to say, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm sorry I didn't welcome you sooner, I didn't notice until now. Mokadoshi (talk) 23:45, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking a look at the article as well. Hopefully I haven't screwed too much up for a first article. Kerravondarrow (talk) 23:51, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, I didn't actually read your draft, because I don't have the necessary permissions to review it anyway. But I'm positive someone who does will see it soon! Mokadoshi (talk) 23:55, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, it'll pop up eventually Kerravondarrow (talk) 23:58, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!
