Doors CS has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this information might not be verifiable. Please review Wikipedia:Verifiability for the relevant policy. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so, citing reliable sources.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. False license
[edit]Please do not add false licenses to images, such as you did to Image:Smash Hits.jpg. This is considered a serious act of vandalism and can result in an immediate block. Thanks. --Yamla 20:41, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
You said: "Why did you put a warning on my user page? I thought I was properly adding an image license to that image. Way to welcome new users. :P"
- You falsely claimed that Image:Smash Hits.jpg was a screenshot of a web page. As noted in the license text, "This tag is not appropriate for images and media found on websites; it should be used for screenshots of websites only." This is clearly not a screenshot of a web page. --Yamla 16:59, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- You said: "Hmm, then I made an honest error. I would think such an action would warrant a friendly notice, not a threatening Talk Page edit."
- If it was an honest error then I apologise. It looked to me like you were removing a no-license tag and replacing it with an obviously false license. --Yamla 17:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Just to be clear, I accept you at your word that this was an honest mistake. How do you think we could have made this particular license more clear that it may only be used for web pages? --Yamla 17:07, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Prod changed to speedy
[edit]In regards to the article App4Math, which you proposed for deletion, I have marked the article for speedy deletion, as I think that the article meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion. In cases where it applies, speedy deletion is preferable to proposed deletion. I have left the {{prod}} tag in place, so that if speedy deletion is rejected, your proposed deletion will remain in place. Thanks! Logan Talk Contributions 23:06, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, now I know. :) KermMartian (talk) 21:53, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Cemetech_logo_trans.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Cemetech_logo_trans.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 05:16, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
